Nothing beats real life learning. Being able to see it. Feel it. And doing it makes it more in depth and remembered then any book can teach. And having someone willing to teach someone else is another kind of beast! I’m breaking out on my own as a mobile welder/repair service as I live in north Idaho. It’s learning different ways and pushing past the mistakes to become better every day! God bless you for teaching and happy thanks giving brother!

I instruct welding classes at our local college. I also work for a large oil company full time for credentials lol, i saw one of your videos where you started from bottom to top which is text book. I constantly see people in my classes and out in field start top to bottom. I know it can be done with certain rods but what do you preach and teach. Cause in this video they where going top to bottom also.

@@Atm_Made_It I would recommend starting from bottom working way to top. Make sure all your prep work is good. Just recently I got to go watch the test, we had 14 welders testing for 6g for pipeline work for the company I work for. Only 3 passed out of the 14. Only common pattern I saw is the ones who failed started top to bottom and possible tie ins were not done well.

With a pressure if water going into the coupon at one end . Bout like a check valve one way . Either way good video. .
