I'm one of those that wasn't able to connect even after watching this (many thanks though dude) eventually I just connected via the usb at the back to my laptop and downloaded the desktop software. It will then ask if you want to connect to the wireless and then you type in the router password
Weldone you really helped me through your thorough illustration I was able to fix mine and it got connected after several attempt in watching the video

4:00 Basically use the Hp Smart app on your phone to connect the printer itself to wifi since there's no screen on the printer.

Hi Caroline did you download HP smart app? If you download the app and could not find the printer you could try it uninstall the app and reinstall it again and search for the available printer. The other option is to try to connect the printer with USB cable and then download the software, when you download the software it will ask if want to connect the printer to wireless network

Ruth you need to follow the same procedure to connect your printer to your PC using WIFI network or USB Cable. Go to play store and download HP SMART APP on your PC then search and add your printer then connect to WIFI network to use your printer

You can get the password for the broadband from the back of the router. You can also get the password details when you select wireless report and network configuration report from the HP smart app

Try to put the printer in a wireless mode by pressing the WIFI button and Cancel button together At the same time for 3 seconds the printer Power button light will flash then release the button you were pressing, then go to HP smart app to search your printer again and select the first option to connect a new printer

You get your WIFI password from the back of your network router or ask your network service provider .If you already connected to WIFI network you can get the WIFI password by printing Wireless report or network configuration report from your printer HP SMART APP

The power light won't stop blinking so I can't even do ANYTHING on it
Also, there's lot of people showing how to connect your phone or computer to the printer, but not a soul showing how to connect the printer to the wifi.
Power light blinks at a steady interval when the printer is processing a print job. If the Power light blinks fast, the ink cartridge door might be open, or the printer might be in an error state.
Fuck's sake. I was able to do this yesterday, but now the printer will not appear on my phone...
