Yeah they do! All the normal tricks don’t work much in ice.

I've never worked in snow you were already blocking traffic you could've got your truck behind the car winch it out straight instead of the angled way you had it then move your truck then pivot the car towards you since you used hitch point

The parking lot isn’t wide enough to get straight on and in the ice it’s really easy to start sliding sideways. Didn’t want any chance of sliding into the car I was getting or any other in the parking lot. Distance is key to safety on ice.
