Multisensory Color Technique Learning Long Division

Jefferson was having a hard time remembering the steps and where to write the different solutions to each step for long division.
1. Use the acronym “Dirty Monkeys Smell Bad” - "DMSB"
2. Make each letter a different color for each step
3. Have the child use the colored pen or marker while working the problem
4. Practice daily for as long as it takes the child to retain it in long-term memory
5. Review periodically.
