Drone video of the depot move, November 19, 2024

A short video of the depot being maneuvered into position on the cement pad. Kevin and Matt Ferneau from Ferneau & Sons House Moving from Marshalltown moved the depot to a newly prepared cement pad to the east of the Dunkerton Public Library. The depot had been sitting 1 mile north of Dunkerton on the Joe and Caren Knebel property. William Bandfield had purchased and moved the depot from Lincoln in 1975 for use as an antique business. Plans are underway to restore the depot, which was built in 1883.
