Most of our float testing in the lab comes from composite samples made of ore from the mine. We have a small ball mill in the lab that we use to grind the samples prior to floating. We use the lab scale to mimic our primary grinding mills. Although, we do, on occasion, use it to replicate regrind conditions.
are sodium ethly xanthate used as collector and pine oil as frother and cresol + aniline as froth stabliser .....reply asap i have a test in a few weeks
Excellent job explaining the process Bob!
Great video,
All the way from a fellow flotation bench scale operator (base metals/rare earths)
In Western Australia 👍
Are the sample collected from an grinding mill or a regrind mill?

That was awesome!💎
What the end product? Concentrate or base metal product?
This is concentration of metal
After this reduction and then refining for pure metal
What reagent did you use to float copper as seen in video?
Filter belt
