    Ohhh man, have been watching your videos for over a month now, and definitely subscribing. I was searching for the a6400 time lapse tutorial, and a bunch of people on YT do those dragging 20 min videos...You hit the point in approx 2 minutes, which is much appreciated :)

    Going to ICELAND in June this year (2023)..
    Have a gopro 7 hero black and would like to know if I should switch to Sony a6400 for ICELAND landscape photography and especially shooting videos. Absolute newbie here..video shooting will be mainly from a tripod at the points of interest. Any advice and tips about camera, lenses and how to shoot smooth stable videos are much appreciated 🙌

    Thanks for the video. Is that the 16mm SIgma you're using? If you could only have that or the 10-18mm Sony which would you choose? Thanks

    • @thaticelandicguy
      @thaticelandicguy  4 года назад +1

      Me holding that camera was the sigma 16mm and when you saw me that was the 10-18 :) Honestly idk they are both good and have pros and cons. But I do like the sigma 16mm alot and it is cheaper.

    Hi, at 1:39, you note "coming from the old Sony a6300 where I had to get a third party app" - what do you mean by that. Don't both cameras (a6300 and a6400) work essentially the same way? As in, they capture still images that then have to be stitched together in LightRoom etc to create a timelapse. Would really appreciate a response as I'm about to buy either an A6100 or a Nikon Z30 (I currently use a Nikon 7100 DSLR with a 20 year collection of F-mount lenses). Cheers

    • @pescado99
      @pescado99 Год назад

      It's OK. I found out the answer! On previous models you have to purchase a timelapse app ($10USD), which doesn't even interface with the camera... BIG negative Sony.

    • @thaticelandicguy
      @thaticelandicguy  4 года назад +1

      I didn't have a whole lot of time at each spot ( I was with my family and they can get bored of me filming all the time lol) + the clouds were moving pretty fast so I think it was like 2-5sec for most of my timelapses during this trip :)
