OMG! I was wrenching at all my local shops as a senior in high school in '93. Had a Giant Cadex. Lucky for me, Bike Nashbar corporate was in my hometown (Yo, Ohio), and I got a job there 2 years later (while in college). I worked on all of these. Chris King was boss at the time. Eventually got into marketing w. Nashbar and travelled EVERYWHERE! All of the Canadian companies were so rad and I'm so grateful for the experience. Great build - those shocks were a breeze. Loved this. Gratitude.

Oh cool. Ya, Rocky mountain and all the other Canadian brands all made some great bikes! I have a DeKerf that's in the build queue that I can wait to get to.

The Manitou look nice on the Altitude. Great build. I used to have a 92 when i was younger. Probably my best bike ever.

Looks brilliant already. I think I might vote for a silver xt groupset over a grey xtr one just based on colour. I think it would go better with the bright yellow and red.
That red raceface headset is 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Right, it was well worth the wait to find that headset. Leaning toward a M900 rd and fd has that is my favorite shimano mtb groupset.
