Thanks for the post. I was at this show. 2nd level 1st row stage left. Blew my mind. AS ALWAYS
My buddy now living in California ( home of KMUD ) called to remind me 30 years ago we WERE RIGHT HERE! I stayed in Colorado to raise a family, as he ended up in California after following THE Dead in the 90s! I remember and am glad to enjoy this show 30 years later on my Bose system with my dog 🐕 ( Mr. Kuda ), and 🐈 ( Jazzy )! The Lord has been gracious to allow me to see this day, and enjoy a memorable part of my youth. Thank you for posting this video.
Was there.... yeah. True story. Floor ...2nd section back, front row aisle, by the tapers, dancing like a whirling dervish.... 💃💃💃 all three nights! My goodness. GREAT MEMORIES!!! Thanks for posting. 🎵💃🎵💃🎵💃
A Sufi man who attended a show saw the Spinners & said it was the same dance that Sufi Muslims do to honour Allah.
I love the Hornsby era...FIRE
Like that whole Denver run.
great shows. I taped this show with my Nak Shotguns and D-5 at a sweet spot around 15 rows back center. I got digital during the next spring tour ;) Bruuce always notched it up. The Wang Dang era. Great 2nd set wow HSF opener ,with a Dew! Very psychedelic show. iko iko naked.
Jerry with a little "Noel" jam before Jack Straw. Merry Christmas Dead Heads!! God I miss him. Thx for sharing a great show Mr. Tobin!
an eerie familiarity, freshman year college, shortly after Brents passing. Wang Dang awesome. get it Bruce.
My first Dead show! I was 12 and it was a school night.
My first show! Can't belive this exists. Huge props for putting this up!
Mail ordered and got front row center for this one. My wife hadn't seen them in 15 years. Amazing.
One of the best shows of the post Brent era. Jack Straw as hit as any! Ramble on, & Sugaree...Special!!! Valley Road is Flat Smokin. Second set is where it really Happened!!! GREAT audience recording too!!! Thank you!!!
That Morning Dew!! So sweet.
Thanks for the post. I was at this show. 2nd level 1st row stage left. Blew my mind. AS ALWAYS
'let the 4 winds blow you home again', and McNichol's lifted off the ground, and flew off
It's so good especially with shroooooooms. I love you all.
Walk on, walk on, walk on.....
Unbelievable show people thank you so much for this post
I was there for all 3 shows. Man some memories
I'm jamming in my aisle twirling around it's a fantastic gam!
that fade to gray then effects sequence blew my mind! thanks for upload
Thank you!!!
On FIRE!!!
another gem, thanks! interesting to hear the early Bruce / Vince ... sadly really makes me miss Brent all the more ...Jerry doing some tasty solo development in Jack Straw that's a bit overshadowed by those two banging away on the keys non-stop.
David Giles Banging away on the keys nonstop, lol!! You're absolutely right, totally cracking me up the way you put it!
Hornsby was known for being an overly "busy" keyboardist. Despite all his talent, he never learned the musical value of understatement or silence.
Vince was great. Bruce saved the band . Jerry and Vince played in another cosmic world of their own.
Was there.
The Intervention Shows
Phil Bill Cosby called he wants his sweater back
Fine late model Jack
One of these has like Terrapin > Aiko > Dark Star … something like that? 12-12? That show is something.
Vince vocals on jack straw with Bobby hangin back, Never noticed this before. Any old head knowledge on this?
Always grateful
Thx!
that was bruce hornsby, he usually took a verse when he played with them
@@robmurray7169 Watch the video before the big jam during Jack Straw , camera pans from Bob to Vince singing a verse.
@@hammertime714 No. that is Hornsby singing not Vince, the pan shows Vince playing not singing. Hornsby used to cover jack straw with the range
my first of 53 shows...i knew by that slow friend of the devil i was into something🙉🙈🙊
2nd set is a BLAZER!
