@Tactical_Turtwig yes, I believe the hobby hit a high during Covid and lock down. That's when I got into it. Also, quite a few Tarantula-tube channels got really popular. I'd keep my distance from the tarantulas, but the jumping ones are adorable. And people often overlook the importance of spiderbros and spidersisters regarding bug control (I know, ironic coming from me, but hey, they ARE beneficial!)
I have had my tarantula for 30 years. She is 34 and still interacting with everyone. 4 days ago, she terraformed her burrow and webbed up the entrance because I put her in my room. I took her to the main room, she finally came out after a few hours and was happy watching everyone in the house including the dog and mingling. She has always been quite social. She even moves to the part of the tank to watch tv with us. So, don't underestimate how smart or wonderful they are.

Living in an old house, you get used to spiders, especially in Autumn when they come in to avoid the cold. Thankfully, even the biggest are nowhere near tarantula size. I generally leave them alone so they can find a hiding place to stay until the Spring. Some of the large ones are quite cute.
Last night I had a spider crawling around my bathroom floor, sometimes they get in the shower. I will move a spider outdoors so my dog won't go for them and I appreciate the insect control. The jumping spiders people keep are so cute! 😊
As much We all love his reactions to new dog breeds, Its wonderful to see god respond to other creatures. I still want to see him respond to some cat breeds... the sphinx, devon rex and savanah come to mind. But for freak outs.... platypus and octopus is sure to have "did Satan have part in these since they are not in my image!" type of response
Luckily, for all parties involved, the more venomous an animal is the less likely it will attack. Generally if an animal instantly ops for attack as its first response it’s because it doesn’t have any other defensive strategy and is hoping to scare you off. It’s why wolf spiders are so aggressive. They’re completely harmless but account for quite a few spider bites because of their aggression

Again not poisonous, venomous.
As some with pet tarantulas and jumping spiders, I feel happy for our lovely spooders being acknowledged in positive light for a change 😂
Same
@tarottarantulas by chance, have you noticed the mentioned increase in popularity? 🤣 perhaps I've just been so used to the antithesis that I haven't seen it myself lol hence being happy for the mere acknowledgement.
@Tactical_Turtwig yes, I believe the hobby hit a high during Covid and lock down. That's when I got into it. Also, quite a few Tarantula-tube channels got really popular. The guy I bought most of mine from went from having an online shop to now having a physical storefront in our area.
I have noticed quite a few people selling their collections now, so the hype might be wearing down 🤷♀️
I'd keep my distance from the tarantulas, but the jumping ones are adorable.
Spiders are adorableand facinating. Just observe the deadly ones from afar
God and my husband would get along swimmingly 🤣
Oh no no no, they are venomous. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"they have tanks?" hahahah
"I'm gonna go wash my hands." 😂😂😂😂
That was a great touch!
God ain't havin nothin to do with that creation! 😂
Arachnophobia is no joking matter. See camel spider videos from Iraq in the 2005-2007 era of the internet.
I think I'm not gonna go there, thanks.
"Camel spiders" aren't even actually spiders (order Araneae). They're solifuges (order Solifugae) -- completely nonvenomous. There's a lot of silly myths about them, which doesn't help make anyone's anything-phobia better.
Nope, I don't do well with the small ones in my house. 😵💫
Rule one: donot tell anyone you are afraid of spiders. They will find any excuse to literally throw one on you!😵💫😵💫😵💫
Interestingly, the camel spider is not actually a spider (solifugae) and is non-venomous. However, it has large pincher fangs that can be wounding.
I see Gabriel has finally gotten sick of God's bs...and is punishing the rest of us for it.
I had a pet jumping spider and to be fair, he was pretty cute. I'm 99% sure God made jumping spiders and then Satan snuck in the other gross ones.
Jumping spiders and tarantulas are cute. The others are fascinating, but not really cute.
I loved my tarantulas, someday when I'm able I'll have them again. Miss my lil spoods 💛
You are hysterical. We are proud you're Canadian.
Glad god gave us Aussies a pass on the blasphemy I feel so relieved about that.
Welp im sad to have sin in blasphemy and at screaming curses at Spiders as an Irish young lady- off to pray for my soul . Bless you 🤗

Spiders are scary..
Technically, the goliath bird eating spider is the size of a large puppy, so maybe you coyld get one on a leash.
.... have you seen a bern pup, they are the size of a medium casserole, the very implication there is terrifying.
@samfish2550 jk, they're not that big. The average is the size of a dinner plate, but they're still pretty fast though.
“I’m gonna wash my hands.” Best Pilate reference ever.
Spiders and sharks: Scary enough when you can see them; even scarier whan they disappear from view. Thanks, God. 😬😵💫
"They have tanks?" XD
Considering the spiders in Australia, the Aussies are gonna need those swear words.
"They can have this creepy little thing as a pet"
Missed opportunity to point out how big they can get 😢
Yeah they pretty cool unless your Australian!! Then they deadly like everything else here... ❤🇦🇺🕸🕷
God... what were you thinking when you made them??!! I mean really!
“dry heaves biblically” I CACKLED 😂
I feel like we got all the spiders because we're also allowed to swear.
I WANT A TARANTULA
They're such awesome pets! Surprisingly docile too, especially if you get them when they're pretty young. I've had my rose hair Minerva for going on 10 years now. Never been bit once!
Spiders are basically two dogs melded together. They have fur, they have two times four legs. They are carnivores too.
I think they are pretty awesome!
Significantly less cute, look like a biblically accurate angel went to hell and became a demon
YASSSSSS!!!! As someone who has 33 tarantulas... this....was....AMAZING!!!! 😂😂😂 So on point with all the things!!!! 👏
💕💕🕷🕸
OMG!! that would be a nightmare house for me lol.. each to their own im fine with my cats as pets and stray cats lol
@Linababe1 lol. I hear ya. Got in the hobby during Covid. I also have dogs, cats, geckos, and hermit crabs....Basically a zoo 😆
@@tarottarantulas omg i thought i had a cat sanctury with rescuing 4 cats 3 were strays i socialised then couldnt part with them and so far 3 ferals outside lol but yeah you win lol. i would love a small doggie but cats wont be happy lol

No no no no, they’re venomous. Had me dying…of laughter.
God literally washing his hands of them is a bit dark but hilarious given the reactions.
Pffffft the spider that recently moved in with me pays rent. It hunts the other little flies and insects. It's a nice roommate :)
Here’s to my Mexican Red Knee, Anubis, who passed a month ago. I’ve had him since he was a sling. It was a good 5 years of the best spooder puppy with the cutest spooder paws ever. 💕✨
I have a little spider that lives in my heating duct. I've seen her twice in five years. Once I went away for four weeks and when I came back she'd "decorated" my bedroom with so many spider webs it looked like dracula's castle. I just cleaned them up. Too far, girl.
Living in an old house, you get used to spiders, especially in Autumn when they come in to avoid the cold. Thankfully, even the biggest are nowhere near tarantula size. I generally leave them alone so they can find a hiding place to stay until the Spring. Some of the large ones are quite cute.
So he gives Aussies a pass, but dumps a buttload of spiders on that continent??? Yeeaahhh…….
He's "gonna wash his hands"got me
your vids are the best🎉
Our spiders do not live in tanks. They sit in the ceiling corners rent-free.Their favourite pasttime is to hang their webs and hunt flies.
F spiders man. Keeping them as pets still boggles my mind.
Last night I had a spider crawling around my bathroom floor, sometimes they get in the shower. I will move a spider outdoors so my dog won't go for them and I appreciate the insect control. The jumping spiders people keep are so cute! 😊
I’m with God on this one! 😂 Thank you funny Jonny❤
Please do vinegaroons at some point. They look like nightmare fuel, but they're completely harmless and eat the things that are actually harmful.
As a proud owner of 9 tarantulas ranging from the world's largest tarantula (still a sling, so it's fairly small considering how large it'll get) to 2 of the most venomous tarantulas.... I love this video!!
Bonus points for the poisonous/venomous bit.
"..they have tanks?"
The realisation lmao
You forgot the most pet-like feature of spiders, their paws! Each leg ends in a paw with 1 or more claw that helps them climb walls.
Also perfect portrayal of modern day verbal sidestepping.
Jumping spiders are actually cute. 0:50
