You take us where we really can't get to ourselves, in that enjoying life with these racers brings a neat dimension. The passion these people have for their sport is astounding!!
Thanks Don for giving us a look at Logan. I've been curious about him. Hard to be disappointed in Cody Swanson ' s win. Great interviews , action and editing ! Thanks again for taking us along for the ride.
You got it Robert. Logan is definitely one to watch. Speaking of watching, I always appreciate your viewership...you've been on this ride from the start...and I'm grateful. HMM
While I enjoy your "lake" videos during the winter, I always look forward to the summer when you take us along on your trips to the race tracks. You were able to get us some interesting conversations with Logan, Taylor and . Even though drivers are often busy on race day, you are obviously knowledgeable about racing as well as the person you are talking to, and as a result, they are willing to take some time with you.(As soon as I saw the two police officers, I knew you would thank them for their service -- you're always considerate enough to take the time to do that.)
Thanks again, wideslammer; I've been hoping to hear from you...been awhile. Your feedback is amazing, and it always encourages me to keep going, even when I don't feel like it. You rock! HMM
@@HistoryMysteryMan that would be great! They turn out some really good races at the speedway, World Of Outlaws would be a great one for you to check out, gets very rowdy with that event!😄
Don, this was a very, very fine video. You brought neat insight to 3 drivers. I now know a great deal more about each of them thanks to you. I am aware of your connection to Rollie Beale, so I wasn't suprised to see you attend this race. In fact, as I watched it on Flo, I noticed you in the pits! Makes me even more anxious to watch the Eldora 4-Crown again this year. Go Logan! Again, what a great video. Extremely well done Don!
Thanks again, Chuck! Rollie was my AJ Foyt growing up...one of those "bigger than life" heroes/characters. Seavey is one awesome dude! See you at the Big E! HMM
@@HistoryMysteryMan If the weather will cooperate, I plan to attend night 2 (Saturday) of Let's Race Two at Eldora for the WOO. If our paths don't cross there, I'm more than certain we will run into each other at some point in the year.
Nice guy. Met him at Bridgeport Speedway last year. The event got rained out but the guys stuck around and gave the fans a chance to meet them. Love my USAC 🇺🇸🏁
Thank you for bringing the racing coverage! I grew up going to races at Toledo Speedway from way back in the 70s! My son was able to win a go kart championship when they had go karts running the quarter-mile! Always love Toledo Speedway!!! Thanks again for the history!
Thanks again, Bill. Being a Toledo guy, Toledo Speedway was also my stompin' grounds since the late 60s. I remember go-karts running out there. The USAC Sprint Car races in the 70s were always standing room only! HMM
What a moving story about the young feller, Logan...so happy for him ...great interviews with all those gents.. Thank you for sharing with us HMM, take care feller...see ya later 👍👍👊
What a great story! There’s a young guy who’s definitely going places. Best of luck to you Logan 🍀 And to you Taylor on getting the checkered flag 🏁 on the Bar exam when that rolls around for you. Oops forgot to wish Kody good luck (although he already seems to have that in the bag lol). Thanks HMM. Great video!
Thanks again critterscute3642; it's nice to hear from you on the racing side of things. Your perspective on the world is always interesting. Seavey, Ferns and Swanson...all classy folks with bright futures. HMM
Such a great track. Wish i gad realised that years ago when it woulda been easy for me to get over there . And great stories throughout the vid. As is standard on this channel.
Hard not to like Logan Seavey! I bought a shirt off his website a couple of years ago. When I opened the package it had a thank you note with my name and his signature. Pretty classy! Thanks for another excellent video HMM!! Oh, Kristy Bemmes is the best when it comes to victory lane interviews! CJ is a lucky guy
Thanks for your feedback...so appreciated. That's super cool...sending back his signature with a thank-you note...super nice touch. Kristy Bemmes...was that the gal doing the interview in victory lane at Toledo? Who is CJ? HMM
Thank you HMM for doing the interviews and posting the video. USAC is one of the best kept secrets in racing and anything that can be done to help promote it, is greatly appreciated. Sad that all 3 of these talented racers aren't more well known. Kody Swanson and Logan Seavey are both badasses that I would love to see in NASCAR or at Indy and I'm so excited that Taylor Ferns is giving Indy NXT a try (embarrassed to say this is the first time I heard about this). You are lucky that you are quite a bit closer to most of the USAC races than I am. The only race that wasn't a really far drive was when they had the USAC Sprints at Weedsport, NY. Also seen the last Silver Crown race on the Syracuse Mile (don't get me started on that track's fate!). I haven't been to Toledo Speedway since Mike Harmon was running ARCA and seeing the Silver Crown cars run there in this video reminds me what a nice facility it is, and also by short track standards it's quite large and fast too!
Thanks again, Gregg. I'd like to travel out to NY sometime soon and see some racing...some of the Big Block Mods and such...and upstate NY is such a beautiful part of the country. Went to Watkins Glen with ARCA way back when. Kody and Logan are amazing racers...and quality men to boot. Oh the Syracuse Mile! I've been there...saw some USAC Silver Crown (Champ Cars back then) racing there in the early 70s. Rollie Beale drove for my dad and we would typically make one trip to Syracuse each season. Damn shame it's gone. Toledo is super nice...reaching back to 1960 when it was dirt...lots of cool history. Thanks for your support...HMM

Good to hear from you again, manga12. Seavey went through a lot in terms of his health and seems to be making the most of his opportunities. 2-time Chili Bowl champ is huge...so hard to win that race even once, even for the very best drivers. Thanks for your feedback...good to have you back. HMM
