@@Skyfan1000 Brandon's quartet Crossroads (now retired) did the song "Little Patch of Heaven" and before they get to the first verse he does a little spoken part and this was a reference and riff on that
As a member of one of the big guys, these guys did amazing and the win was well deserved

I am in eastern NC and not too long ago got my BHS membership. I wanted so badly to go and experience this, but have things here I couldn't be away from. I'm so happy for the members attending and performing. What a joyous occasion to share in the passion we adore!

omg, me again, but i had to pause again to say how, at about 3 mins, they even did the “delay” that zoom would have, when they sang happy birthday, that must have been hard to do. great job, ok, now back to the video!
The hard part for that section in our rehearsals was keeping the singing quality up. The rhythm and tuning weren't super tough, but it was easy to sing it badly since it's "supposed" to be bad if that makes sense lol

This was the most entertaining number and I wanted them to win, but I wasn't sure that they would. It's too hard to know what the judges might mark down. So happy to have the convention in Charlotte and that I got to see this performance. I was so happy when they got gold.
I sang with the VM, moved to Nashville, became a writer and music producer, acted as a vocal coach for the MCC the year they were top-ten in L'ville but I didn't join, ended my long career, and moved to Colorado 2 years ago. Damn! I'm through with the beautiful scenery and great weather. I'm movin' back to sing with you guys!

Im a little lost with the skateboard bit
Masters of Harmony appeared first in the contest at 9:45AM on Friday and they had a bit at the end where they had someone skateboarding around the stage and we put it in the set at the last minute =)
I think there are 2 sides to the joke.
1 for those who saw it, the attempted kick up which happened in the MoH set. Just a funny bit to throw in for those people.
2. For those who didn’t see it (because “it was early, no one came”) the skateboard joke intentionally goes over their head. So if you don’t get it because you didn’t see MoH, that is also the point of the joke 🤣
