Same. It seemed like such trite nonsense and I normally love Franco and Rogan but the north korea jokes were a lot like the Trump jokes now. It's all the same. Crazy dictator, short tempered, nuclear war, fat boy and cigars. Orange man bad, tiny hands, diet cokes, funny hair cut. It was so lazy. I almost felt like the hacking was itself a PR stunt to get ppl to watch their movie. Kinda like the fake gamer gate scandal. Sony actually faked a LOT of RUclips comments and Twitter comments "attacking" Leslie Jones to get ppl to watch ghost busters lest they be a sexist bigot.
@@chrissibersky4617 I can see why, he's definitely not the most mainstream guy out there I suppose. I don't have anything specific against him as far as I'm concerned, but I can see how some people may not enjoy his work....
Many of us thought the hack was a publicity stunt, at least I and several of my colleagues did ... and we worked in military intelligence at the time. When we found out it was real, the irony was certainly not lost on us. If they had just left it alone I certainly wouldn't have cared to see the movie, but the hype around the hack make it that much more desirable, like, what could be so bad that NK wants to stop us from seeing it? Turns out it was just another Franco/Rogan farse, funny, but not particularly special. In the end, I would never have watched it if NK wasn't so butt-hurt about it in the first place. The big irony was that they decided to tip their hand and show that they can hack with a campaign that did the opposite of their goal. As with most NK dick-waving, I think their efforts will continue to fall flat (yeah, wannacry was bad, but it's mostly gone now) until they truly understand their adversary (the West) ... which they will not be able to do until they become more like us. And the minute they do that, the regime will fall, which cannot be allowed. And so, they will continue to be a step behind the rest of the world. This is why I think the title of this video is incorrect. We certainly do have ways to fight against NK hackers. In fact, we do it effectively every day. They may have come up with a couple of cheap tricks, but if you only ever use the internet as a weapon and fail to understand it's true nature you will always misjudge the degree to which others will go to defend it.

This is all going to end very, very badly but I'm nearly seventy so unlikely to be here myself.
How dare you be so old and knowledgeable at the same time!
Dammmm! 👀! Great research! Excellent explanation! 👍
Should do a video on the DPRKs supernote production.
Whenever i have bad gas the poltergeist activity in my home increases dramatically so I think It affects it so it’s my way of terrorizing it back.
The Interview is hilarious

Men you tell the best hacking stories I've watched you video from 200k subs your most enjoyable contents are mostly the hacking or computer videos love ❤
always happy when Arran uploads
Wow, I've never heard of this before
Honestly you make me wish I was British 😅. I just feel like that English accent would be like wearing a permanent Rolex 🤔🤣🤷♂️.
Happy Gilmore is the best golfer.
Ooooh whenever I see a video on North Korea I know it's gonna be good & interesting!!!
Fascinating Sir. While I truly appreciate the convenience of the digital banking environment, it is clear that much more investment into Cyber security is required by the established banks.
You sir never fails to make my dinner much more enjoyable.
Great job! Good story and delivery. Appreciate. For more on the horrors of North Korea read Yeomni Parks book on why and how she escaped NK. Moving and scary. Thanks for sharing your work. Appreciate much. Lvya all much. Shalom. D
Your channel is great...i really enjoy the knowledge
Their hacking back then made me want to watch the interview, a movie that I probably would not have watched otherwise lol.
I can't stand Seth Rogen.
Same lol
Do you plan on doing an Audiobook for Bread and Circuses? I absolutely loved your narration for Stick a Flag in It, easily one of my best experiences on audbile. I would happily listen to another!
I wonder more about *how* they get that many.
They don't even have that many computers.
?? Are you being serious?
Lol. How many computers do you think they have?

Very interesting mini documentary !
The pen is mightier than the sword
REAL THREAT:
Cyber Warfare
A real smart person sitting at a computer with a reliable internet connection tramps them both,,,mustache WISDOM
True...
That's just an extension of the pen. The pen in that metaphor isn't literally a pen just like the sword isn't literally a sword.
The pen represents knowledge technology and logic and diplomacy while the sword represents violence and war.
Hacking counts as "the pen" bro.
@@juanmccoy3066 that sounds like a long pen. Like it's gotta at least be 20 inches
Cool that you did the hone sponser! I'm currently 19 and already on NHS testosterone replacement therapy, I take a shot every 12 weeks (basically what hone do) and it works well!
@C Z low testosterone. Medications I take also lower, my pituitary gland doesn't produce enough either.
That's 8000 people in NK who gets to eat somewhat regularly..

“A really good computer” “-$600” 😂 really basic computer would be more appropriate
Wow.
If stuff like that becomes public knowledge, I dread to think how often it happens without our knowledge.
A army of hackers to cheat on games
Only reason I lose

If only Kim Jong un was more like general aladeen from the dictator

North Korea Hackers: 8k
Fbi Hackers: Equal to the amount of Humans
I’m more afraid of the DPRNK’s *Unicorn Army!!!!*
There’s an entire *UNICORN LAIR* just outside Pyongyang!! IT EVEN HAS AN OFFICIAL SIGN OUT IN FRONT OF IT…
The fact that someone felt freeer in China, tells a lot about how restrictive North Korea is.
You should do a video on Russias online Troll army.
Sounds like they need hackers so they can afford electricity at night.
