I was about 50 feet from the front, on Ed's side of the stage. This was an amazing, and often emotional night for me with many very distinct memories of how I felt during the show.
From Phil's drumfills on through the coda was definitely one of them. I've loved this band since the late 90s and I'll admit that even I had forgotten how cool this song was. The ending of this song just kind of rejuvenated me in a weird sort of way.

This song being in his natural range means Thom can still hit it consistently, so hope to hear it again live one day. This take seems a bit more soulful and controlled than the album and earlier live versions. I guess I have a soft spot for the earlier ‘blowouts’ but I reckon this version would be easier to actually hear at a show lol.

Htheorphanarian Most radiohead fans are well into adulthood now, they weren’t back then. Also, Blow Out was top tier Radiohead at that time (besides Creep/ACPG ofc), whereas they’ve done 8 albums since then that have gained heavy recognition, so the song isn’t as much of a fan favorite as other songs. You should check out some videos of them playing South America/Scotland/Mexico City from this tour, those crowds were quite something

i remember manic street preachers playing in cuba, the cubans had no idea who the hell they were but just loved to dance so got in to the whole show.
