Just an idea, maybe just simulate roads that lead into the holes in the table. Make it so they are like back alleys. That way the Tuning shop can "use" the back garage door
I think that is a great position for that building. You can just assume that there is some sort of a back yard where that access hole is, and then the back door actually makes sense.
Just a small suggestion. In most tuning shops there is a dyno. Once they tune the car, they dyno the car to see the power increase. Might be able to recess some sideways cylinder pieces in the mils plate to make it look like dyno rollers. Looks great though!
Absolutely love what you did with your custom Tuning Shop while keeping a similar design and theme to the original! The interior looks super nice tiled off as well as all the details and clutter that you would see in a shop. I do like the placement but, I think it'll look better beside the Diner.
This looks fantastic. I also have two of these sets and have been planning to do something like this for a couple years now, but was never really sure how I'd go about it. I might have to steal a few of your ideas. I like the whole raised roof bit. I like the sign on the back of the shop too, it makes sense to have it there. There's a wrap shop near me that has about as much signage over their rear garage area as they do on the front side of the building. It's thematically appropriate and perfectly realistic.
And another awesome bricksie moc! I’m jealous at your talent. You could put it in front of the raised platform. The back door can be used to load modified cars onto a train to deliver it to the customer.
You could use that area next to the hospital for a small market area (it is close to both the farm and beach so it could sell lots of produce), alternatively you could create a small play park for children next to the hospital (swings, roundabout, climbing frame, etc.). You could even make it a zen garden for the patients to use (maybe that’s not the best idea given it’s proximity to the rail track). Love the new tuning garage and, as ever, thank you for your excellent content.
There are plenty of buildings with sliding back doors that don’t really lead anywhere. My gym is like that. Giant lift door. 4-5 feet of space. So of it just leads to an alley, I think that makes sense.
Another great build! I built this set when it came out and put it on a shelf waiting to do this. Thanks for remireminding me I have it and motivating me to do it!
You could use the sign from the back of the shop to make a billboard for in the city, then you could add custom advertising for other businesses / buildings too
You could always add in a road next to the tuning shop and make it look like its going somewhere so that it looks like its heading into a back alley or something. After all, if that was a actual city in the Lego universe, that opening you have behind the shop would be filled with buildings or something similar.
That expanded tuning workshop is really nicely done - I particularly like the little scene of the guy working on the engine behind the building. I hope he's not going to strip it down outside! You've got some big public service buildings in the city, like the hospital and the town hall, as well as buildings that would be busy 24/7, like the fire station and the hospital. Do you have something like a creche or nursery where people could send their young children during work hours? Possibly as part of a community hall or building, the kind of space that people rent out for birthday parties and the like?
Just a thought. If you slid the building to the corner then the street sign would make sense. You don't normally get a street sign out the front of a building that's in the middle of a street. The sign that you put on the back you could then add to the side wall on the street side. The building looks good.
I love it I work in a shop and the one thing I would say is add some random 1x1 circular studs under the roof cause if you ever look up randomly at a shop you'll find some random things up there from when we get bored🤣
I love the shop so much but I have an idea for what could go next to the hospital you could put a police station upgraded from a lego city set like what you did in this video
You do such an awesome job of dropping a video every day and with everything you do to be able to do that is super impressive. Keep up the good work I love all of your videos.
maybe there could be more tools hanging on the wall of the tuning workshop than in reality, there could be an autumn tree in front of the building, a bin with a rat in the back of the building, there could be more alleys - like at least a graffitied wall part on top of the tuning workshop, there could be a medium nougat house for the owner of the workshop and I think a medium nougat with a brick pattern would look good from cubes and I would solve the roof space from black slopes like at 10218 pet shop
i wouldent worry about the pull through ive seen some shops where they just have a big roll up door on the back just to get air flow through but not too drive through
Curious - Would the 1x6x5 panel fit with a SNOT brick on one side & a Technic 1x2 with 2 holes on the other? Or..... SNOT & 2 plates on either side? The plate studs would act as a half plate pushing up against the 1x brick.
I wouldnt consider a mechanic shop next to a book shop realistic. A place that would be extremely noisy next to a place meant to be quiet doesn’t really make any sense
Bricksie you sure have came along way from mocking your lego sets and I love all of them, the only ones I didn’t like were those skyscrapers you added but then took out but everything else was great!
Just an idea, maybe just simulate roads that lead into the holes in the table. Make it so they are like back alleys. That way the Tuning shop can "use" the back garage door
Well the crane behind it could lead to that alley (pretending the hole isn't there of course)😅
The holes in the table should be parks that you can drop down and slide underneath when you need access. We demand more green space!
@@GodTierCommentsI like that idea
My Dad would LOVE this as a Lego set!!!
This moc would be a great place to work in the fast and furious characters from those speed champions sets
I think that is a great position for that building.

This is one of your best mocs, really has a realistic feel
Absolutely love what you did with your custom Tuning Shop while keeping a similar design and theme to the original! The interior looks super nice tiled off as well as all the details and clutter that you would see in a shop. I do like the placement but, I think it'll look better beside the Diner.
You could convert the used car trailers into a Christmas tree salesman’s RV or another food truck.
The welding masks are awesome . This is just how it should have been built. Love it. Tfs
Your best moc to date I think. Well done
Awesome. Having billboards and ads at other locations in the city, for businesses that can be found in the city, would be super cool.
Yeah that is a great improvement. I like it, it's a pretty balanced design
That red masonry brick is sweet
Such a great set

Excellent build enjoyed watching it.
This is an awesome little project! Love it.
It looks awesome! The interior is so cool 😀
Awesome moc dude! It’s really good!
My grandson loves this set. It’s the most played set in my collection. We love your improvements. 🚗 🛞 🐕 🏍️
Loving that HVAC greebling on the roof 👍
And another awesome bricksie moc! I’m jealous at your talent.

Great work with the upgrade!
Nice Tune up on this one, your city just keeps getting better and better 🙌🏽
That looks so awesome!
Skid marks coming into/out of the garage could look awesome
Amazing timing! This set just came in the mail yesterday for my son.
There are plenty of buildings with sliding back doors that don’t really lead anywhere. My gym is like that. Giant lift door. 4-5 feet of space. So of it just leads to an alley, I think that makes sense.
Really the back lot to the tuning garage could be imaginary since it’s right next to the access hole. Looks great
I reallylike the set.And how you made it into a modular building.I think you should also add some build boards or advertisements to the city
Another great build!
I built this set when it came out and put it on a shelf waiting to do this. Thanks for remireminding me I have it and motivating me to do it!
I think for the sides you should add graffiti stickers to make the sides pop
You could use the sign from the back of the shop to make a billboard for in the city, then you could add custom advertising for other businesses / buildings too
This is a great MOC! My son has this set, I have rebuilt it for him 3 or 4 times and always ends up in pieces a few days later.

After all, if that was a actual city in the Lego universe, that opening you have behind the shop would be filled with buildings or something similar.
I used the little trailer as a place for the workers to keep warm in my Christmas tree lot
Your idea to maybe use the rear sign as a billboard somewhere in the city would be cool.
I live my life a quarter baseplate at a time 🏎️😎
That expanded tuning workshop is really nicely done - I particularly like the little scene of the guy working on the engine behind the building. I hope he's not going to strip it down outside!

Two of my favorite youtuber and buildings modifying this set. Pretty awesome what you and MrBookiebo can do!
love your videos! You should put Home Alone in the winter vilage!
That looks really nice.
Just a thought. If you slid the building to the corner then the street sign would make sense. You don't normally get a street sign out the front of a building that's in the middle of a street. awesome video jordan the tuning shop looks amazing in the lego city great job
Bunch of great ideas in this moc ❤
Hey Bricksie!!! You can double the little caravan, that could be awesome!!😊
Cool conversion! My next project is an auto shop so this gives me some ideas
Clearly that back door is just to give better ventilation when they're testing those tuned engines :D
I love the shop so much but I have an idea for what could go next to the hospital you could put a police station upgraded from a lego city set like what you did in this video
Did you take the spiral sky scraper out of your city. I thought it was prob one of the best skyscrapers I've seen
Awesome modification
Maybe there could be an alley leading to the back
You do such an awesome job of dropping a video every day and with everything you do to be able to do that is super impressive. Keep up the good work I love all of your videos.
Finally I’ve waited so long for this video
looks nice bricksie
I’ve always wanted that
This is cool, Bricksie. Kind of made me regret selling this set some months ago.
Hi bricksie you could have used the bill boards to break up the side walls looks great
1x1 cheeslopes should be 180* rotated to stop garage doors properly not to bump up them at the end.
wow...best!
13:15 Space for 2024 CNY Reunion Modular Restaurant
Tread Octane "Is that a challange?!"
I still hope to see a Gerald’s Field from Hey Arnold. Great video though!
great job 👏
Amazing workshop Awsome review 👍☕️
love it!
VERY unik small set😇👍 Good you have 2 sets off it + bricks from your own inventory Looking good Jordan😱😱😱💪😎👑
Maybe you could build another floor on top of it so that the height is consistent with the bookshop and university
you should put the up house on the half base plate by the construction site
Great work! COngratulations!
Looks great! Are there instructions anywhere so I can build it myself?
Maybe make the base bigger and make the driveway go from the back of the building, around the side, and back out to the front
Great build, think you will add a second story?
Maybe move the 2nd sign from the back to the side to break up the wall?
Time to buy light kits and light up the city...
Any chance a corner garage could go next to it, love your MOC builds following the instructions then adding a garden is my limit.
I've got an idea. What if you closed of the back door. Had an extra wide front door and put the second sign on the side?
maybe there could be more tools hanging on the wall of the tuning workshop than in reality, there could be an autumn tree in front of the building, a bin with a rat in the back of the building, there could be more alleys - like at least a graffitied wall part on top of the tuning workshop, there could be a medium nougat house for the owner of the workshop and I think a medium nougat with a brick pattern would look good from cubes and I would solve the roof space from black slopes like at 10218 pet shop
i wouldent worry about the pull through ive seen some shops where they just have a big roll up door on the back just to get air flow through but not too drive through
usually i see auto repair shops beside gas stations. maybe you could give that a try.
You should move the gas station next to the tuning shop.....
GTA VI Neighborhood?😂
Can you do a city tour in January of next year
If the shop is positioned next to a hole you could pretend there is a yard there or something
Which parts do you use to make those slide doors... i want to make some movie stage studios. Like your channel! Greetings from Belgium
Put an apartment above the garage
But if they make a lot of noise in the workshop, doesn't it bother those in the bookstore?
Tough luck 📖 🪱
😂

The mechanic out back needs to be holding a hammer, because every mechanic knows you have to either kick it or beat it with a hammer.
No tutorial on how you did this ?
I wouldnt consider a mechanic shop next to a book shop realistic. A place that would be extremely noisy next to a place meant to be quiet doesn’t really make any sense
Cool building 😊 But the dark red color differences look horrible 😳 Can't believe that Lego is letting that go through quality control..
Do you have a list of parts to use for construction and the website to order them??
He gets his parts from BrickLink
What set is this from?
U should make instructions
Make bigger hospital
first
Very nicely done
Bricksie you sure have came along way from mocking your lego sets and I love all of them, the only ones I didn’t like were those skyscrapers you added but then took out but everything else was great!
Looks incredible!
