For those who don't know, this incredible song is inspired by the Greek legend King Midas, who pays for the gift of gold and ends up getting it. everything he touches turns to gold. But then he can't eat, and his daughter Marigold seeing him in despair hugs him and she too turns to gold, and he lives in despair finding this gift is truly a curse.

It's not information necessary to everyday life and we shouldn't hold academic information or knowledge above the heads of those less fortunate. Instead, we should aim to use our education to educate others, creating a cycle where we teach each other.
@@cookiemonster59263 This is general classical culture knowledge, and maybe not everything has to do with "everyday life". Because if you say so, like 85% of what you learn in school is not "necessary information to everyday life". Did school teach you how to file taxes?
It's important to also be taught of past literature, it's culture from our shared cultural past. Just admit the US school system is very lacking on "general culture".

We shouldn't hold that against the poorer neighbourhoods. We should teach them and give them the opportunity they deserve.
