I had this realization that maybe Odagiri Joe enjoyed playing as Godai more than his Kuuga alter ego. With that mask on we cannot imagine a cheerful man like him risking his life fighting the Grongi until we really see how much it took its toll on a maskless Godai during his final fight against Daguva; bleeding, crying and howling in anger. Yet he persevered. In short, this ED made me appreciate Odagiri as Yusuke Godai a bit more than Kuuga.
Joe Odagiri admitted that he wasn't really a fan of Tokusatsu and he only agreed to do it because he is a good friend with the producer of the show. Despite that, he never hated the role and is happy that Kuuga not only revived the franchise but also made the franchise the way it is today..
@@player2-lightwater914 Even if this wasn’t a Kamen Rider show, I’ll gladly watch a Slice o’Life about Godai being a positive influence to his loved ones and everyone around him, day to day. Odagiri-san is just that great in carrying that role.
I just finished Kuuga, as my first Rider. And I couldn't be more happy to have experienced these characters, these stories, and their smiles first-hand. It might not be entirely impossible, but I want to be more like Godai, and make as many people smile as possible even when things are at their scariest for me or them. 👍 Shame I don't have his hair though.
You don't have to be LIKE Yusuke Godai Instead, learn from him, learn his ways of protecting the smiles of people and keeping that thumbs up. Even when plunged in your own darkness, always believe in the better future, I'm sure Godai believes that too

if kamen rider Kuuga is adapted into an anime one day i think Jin Hashimoto is suitable for opening kuuga and jotaro is the voice actor for yuusuke godai
