If your crit chance exceeds 100% you get double crits.
Thanks to being able to reference your gun-only build for Scout, I finally got my Haz 5 clear on this map. The difficult curve of Haz 5 is so crazy high :(
The flyers are so much easier to deal with than the crawlers. You can literally just circle it, and it's turn radius is massive, so you don't even need to stop mining.
Just so you know, having played a ton of Deep Rock Galactic, calling the drop pod a ship is perfectly acceptable in my opinion. It is a space craft capable of making atmospheric entry and even returning to orbit. It's sort of like a space shuttle that can launch itself in to space without a rocket, but also has a huge ass drill on it that can get it thousands of feet underground, because dwarf. Rock and stone, after all.
For a 1 bullet magazine I would imagine fire rate will only matter if it's slower than the reload speed.
The reload seems to immediately start the moment it's finished, so it looks like fire rate has 0 impact. Sadly only saw that when editing
I had a gun that had a reload speed faster than fire rate and the first bullet always shot out faster.
As far as I can tell fire rate is only subsequent shots in the magazine

@@TaylorLiam87 The Level 18 option he picked was for the 6 bullets to be replaced with a single shot.
You’re right it, it had 6 bullets at the start, but then he changed it to be 1.
The other overclock on M1000 basically turns it into a boomstick with sniper rounds instead och shotgun pellets. Insane aoe with piercing bullets.
After 65H into the game and completion of every challenge up to and including Hazard 4, still have some annoying challenges left on Hazard 5 I'm working on, my favorite gun is the "Thunderhead", best gun in the game, with piercing bullets and overclocked on 18 it's basically a minigun with sniperbullets that destroys everything in the direction it's shooting... Hazard 5 feels like a walk in the park with that gun. Insanely good and reliable xD
reliable? From my experience it kinda shoots really random. Or whatever direction you're walking too, but it has very few bullets and a relatively slow reload so you have to constantly pay attention to when it's about to shoot and turn the right direction or all your shots go wasted. Because when you turn the shots don't turn with you, they keep shooting at the same direction.
Fire rate is the single worst stat you can take for the thicc boi

@@DexTag Dex, please do a video/run with double crit as the focus. The devs have confirmed that crit chance over 100% can result in a single damage instance criting twice. You NEED to be the first to showcase this in a H5 run.
I'd disagree, it has a 6 round capacity not 1.
Damage buffs are not necessary if going crit.
Buffing fire rate and reload, u can get it shooting like a LMG and with piercing it's absolutely wrecks.
@@TaylorLiam87 the thick boy over clock combines the rounds into one, creating a single round clip, making fire rate a dead stat. You’re correct in every other circumstance.

You should try the multi Bullet on the sniper, its far more nuts than the fat boy. It turns it into a shotgun dealing your sniper damage times 5. you kill the boss in like 10 seconds.
Fire rate is pretty bad for that L18 Overclock. Reload doesn't actually begin until the gun tries to fire with no bullets. So with that L18, you fire, wait until the next bullet would be fired, and then start the reload time. So it's not completely useless, but pretty much anything else is better.
You can reach even more stupidly high numbers, my record was 100k in one shoot with M1000, +100% magazine, big boy bullet, Pickled Nitra, Gold-Tipped Bullets, Nitragenic Powder and cold weapon for zoning enemies

For thick boy m1000, fire rate does nothing, so all you want is reload on that one. You would want to get the overclock that doubles the mag size, but you can't guarantee you'll get it. If you wanted backups to cover between thick boy shots like the plasma carbine, then an upgrade to fire rate for all weapons isn't bad, but it just does nothing for the thick boy
Hazard 5: (2) bosses per level, and the the big boi on the last level has (2) bosses hatch with him
Honestly the flowers quest is worse than the mushroom quest. Yeah, you have to collect more of the mushrooms, but there's like twice as many as you actually need on the stage, so they're *everywhere*. The flowers there's only like 8 or 10 on the ENTIRE map, so it's really possible to explore like half the map and only ever see one of them.
Why do I sometimes get a very high reload time on the M1000 after I choose the thick boi overclock? Sometimes I get 5 secs or 4 secs, but sometimes I even get 20 secs? What is the reason for that? Bug?
I want to see what the other final overclock does now.
Fire rate is actually insane for the m1000 rifle, it has 6 bullet capacity not 1.
You can get it into machine gun speeds and its a rofl stomp for you run
You had buffed your rate so high it appear as one bullet, reload speed would have be preferable to switch into in this case.

I’m only at H3 so far but what’s the trick to getting high levels on first stage? I always seem to only get around 12-15
I have record 25 on H5 (more enemies then H3 i guess) i get everything non dmg basically u have to be greedy and do everything and i go cold broomstick/granade some AOE freez/slow. It's good to get XP, pickup radius, move speed, mine speed at stage 1 and just survive as long as u can and dig dig dig. For omega farming its good to have cold weapons. Try all in cold broomstick on H3 it's strong weapon.
I *despise* the Boolo Cap quest. 12 is an incredibly obnoxious amount to gather.

like 5/6 alpaca blooms and the other ones just dont exist till you finally find them all 4 remaining ones in a clump at the edge of the fucking world
you know you can check things like your crit chance before you spend resources upgrading it.

If you want to take the M100 even more stupidly higher, you should try and get the upgrade that increase magasine size by 100%.
Because the Thick Boy upgrade read as follow: Combine ALL bullet in the mag into one.
So let’s says you have 5 bullet that each do 500 it’s now 2500
But if you have 10 it become 5000 before crit. Also Crit on a crit is a think if you have over 100% or 200%
