Glad y'all are well with no major damages, my uncle lives in fort Myers and luckily he is ok and his garage was the only thing that got damaged at his house but he said everyone else's house on his street got hit by it. I told my mom that my grandpa and my aunt that passed within the last two years were watching over him and kept him safe.
My Mom lives in Venice and all the houses around her were severely damaged or destroyed. My father passed away last fall and I have no doubt he held a bubble of safety over my Mom and her house. Her only damaged was due to others roofs peeling up and off their houses.
My friend is in fort Myers also the neighbors house clasped but here's was ok

I feel ya on the kennel comment. Sometimes you just need your fur babies put up and safe for a bit. Mopping is a perfect example. Fortunately, my fur baby is happy to go to her “room”. She eats her treats in there. 😂

Poor hubby but he did look better, my brother has hair like your husbands. Thankful that you guys came through the hurricane with little damage God is good. Your right so many have it so worse after the storm. When the hurricane left you guys it came in to SC were im at we had a very soggie yard in some places anckle deep but it has left behind something that has caused me to brake out severely that the doctors doesn't even know what it is as is rash is covered my body and the itching won't stop. Yes unless you have lived through a hurricane you do not realize the sound the wind makes and how you feel the tornado is coming right at you and there's never a tornado there it is awful I have lived through many I'm just thankful you're all safe material things can be replaced. God bless you and your family.🤗🐶 don't let what people say about how you take care of your dogs get to you I have cats and I have to contain them many times and they don't always like to get along.

We got so lucky too, karrie! Some how or another we managed not to loose power or internet and the only damage sustained to my house was a few shingles came off my roof and my plants were all lopsided but none actually broke. I just had to replant them. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Glad you didn't have any real damage from the hurricane. Welcome back on the air. How long have you been without power. We have a generator because when it's rainy and windy the trees hit the power lines.

After going through Ida I know how nerve wracking it can be! The sound was so loud with Ida after about four or five hours of her continuous roar … I got mad and started hollering back at her! (I’m sure I scared her off! Lol 😂)

I was wondering if there was any damage at your families property that you have been working on? Hopefully it was out of the range of the storm. My dogs grew up in a crate from puppies when training them. It was like their private space, they went in there all the time, all their lives, on their own. They loved it.
I can't imagine what you went through...so happy you didn't have a lot of damage. I haven't been through a hurricane but have endured tornadoes. What kind of blower is that?

My son's GF learned how to cut his hair during the Covid lock down. She does such a good job and saves them so much $.
Our Beagle is kennel trained and if he gets too stressed he will sometimes go and put himself to bed. It is the funniest thing! My point being that I would never ever think you're being mean to have your dogs in their kennels. 😘

Have you ever burned anything in your kitchen I forgot I had something on the stove and it burnt I had to wash every wall in my house every ceiling every floor every carpet I have to shampoo the carpet I have to wash the couches the bedding all the curtains everything so my question is have you burnt anything in your kitchen

Oh Karrie….so glad that the storm wasn’t as bad for you. I have no idea what that is like up here in the northwest corner of Massachusetts. We are surrounded by hills and mountains so we sometimes get bad wind storms associated with rain/thunder storms. Love your videos. So full of motivation. I often watch videos at night and replay them the next morning while I clean the house. I love the company!!!
You tickled me. I was like that when young, after stress too I clean. I do my walls maybe twice a year. Planter shelves. We are doing the yard now. Pretty much shredded my bushes. Lots of branches and oak trees. So planted some simple floral plants. Dug up the real damaged ones. Was able to save a portion of some of them. We will see how they do, they may not make it but thought I give it a try. Love your music picks too. Oak leaves branches everywhere. Ordering the panels for the porch overhang. Found one and the connecter but one panel is gone. Spent all day until dark just on the front yard. Still did not finish it. Ya we are putting in the gate tomorrow been wanting to for a long time. Took two small trees down so opened up a better area for gate. I have two dogs, thank Zoey for me. She made me want one. So picked the one out and went with a friend and found another. Love your dogs.

Wind is scary. 😢. We get it bad in pNW. Probably not as bad as this storm. It’s scary with big trees in the bad. We’re finally getting them cut down bc they could kill us or someone else

Hi Karrie! I messaged you on Instagram. Glad you all had minor damage and everything worked out ok! When we had the Hurricane come through Ohio in 2008, it was brutal. Our news stations didn't even know how to report it because it was so odd. Great video girl!!
Great video I'm so pleased your all OK after the hurricane. I wish I had your energy. I don't have a husband now but when I did I did his hair too. I have 2 dogs and to save money I've started grooming them myself, I rely hate the job because one shakes constantly and the other won't stay still, it puts me in a right mood. I'm saving up now to take them to the groomers because they both behave for her. Xx

You are a great dog mom. My neighbor kenneled his dogs all day everyday inside and out. I used to offer to let them out and hang out with them in the yard. He had no business having them, they were sweet and loving. He has since gotten them a new home. Hopefully, they are being treated better. You love your dogs and it is very clear, especially addressing those who wondered ❤️❤️❤️

I’m glad you only had minimal damage. I am from New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina took away everything I owned except my car and my family. Remember things can be replaced but family cannot.
Last hurricane we had in the UK - earlier this year - brought most of the fences down in my road, took months to get them all repaired as all the fencing contractors were so busy .... add-in the difficulty with supplies and cost of wood .....!
Luckily, no damage to the house or car and none of my trees came down, some of the neighbours weren’t so lucky - however my gardens (front and back) looked like yours with all the fallen branches
So glad you and your family sustained minimal damage and everyone is ok. Prayers do work because I know you and your family received tons of prayers. I feel for those that didn’t come out so lucky, prayers for them and hoping they make a quick recovery. Those storms don’t play around.
I agree, in the summer months when you lose power, the house starts to smell. As soon as our power comes back on I start cleaning like a mad woman. And yes! I wash walls 😂😂😂❤
I lived in Dothan, Al. for a few yrs. I'm from Oxford,Al. and have dealt with tornadoes all my life. The first hurricane we went through the wind seemed to last forever. Nothing like the tornadoes we were used to in east central Alabama. They blow through and then they are over but not a hurricane!! That wind last forever seems like and it always leave damage. Our power box on the side of our house was tore down bc of a electric line that a tree branch feel on. I'm back in Oxford and do not miss the hurricanes that come up from Panama City. Glad all is safe in your family!!

I’m a stylist and here’s my tip for haircuts: start with the 6 like you did then do the 4 and then the 2 on the bottom. The fade is beater and you won’t spend so much time getting rid of that line. Looks great tho!!!
For not stinky house I open all windows for fresh air Every morning even in cold weather for 20 -30 minutes
Ive been doing my husband’s fade in the back between cuts. His hair is longer and curly on top, so i really dont know how to do that part.
Use vinager in your bucket with hot water and your pine cleaner it will get rid of the dog smell and for your sofa use vinager in a spay bottle and baking soda and let it sit for a half hour then with a damp sponge wipe it clean it will get rid of any pee smell.
Hairdresser here also. Great job on the haircut. I use clippers on eyebrows also. Your looked like a pro!

Dog crates are a good tool when used right and Karrie uses them right. You can see the dog chilling out in it. We use crates as well. They are their sanctuary, their domain.

So happy you all didn't end up with a lot of damage ! Washing the walls really does help. It's crazy how much of a difference it makes. Daannngg the pressure washer really does do the trick. So satisfying watching the rug get cleaned. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 your daughter pushing your son around in the wheelbarrow in the background 😅🤣. We hung curtains on our back porch for the same reason. Really does help with keeping the sun out. You make cutting hair look easy.
