MY Comments to the Judge would've have went something along the lines of:
"Your Honor, I know the people believe my wife to be guilty of poisoning my son but if you're are WRONG you will have deprived a mother of spending the final moments of her child's life Beside Him where she Belongs. Is it not said that she is innocent until proven guilty? Why is the Court punishing her before have tried her for her alleged crimes?!"
That's just stupid. It seems like that court would rather sentence a woman to a life in prison than admit they were wrong. Stupid. I think their fervor over protecting babies outweighed their common sense. Thank goodness this show overcame that.
By the way, this Patricia looks amazingly like Patty Hearst did when she was that age.
not only that, but the fact that the kids would be sent to foster care and its money..... its a disgusting system that takes kids away.
It gets even darker too. Look up Innocence Destroyed. You'll further feel sick when you know what the system and foster homes do to children.

I'm from Greenville SC I remember this Soo sad.
I don't think it was about protecting their baby. After all, the defense could prove that she did not kill her baby. Yet, the judge and prosecution insisted on levying that charge against her.
If they really believed she was guilty, why did they release her from prison?
No. I think it was another case of the state interfering with good parents raising their own children. If they will make up stuff on a whim to have children removed from their families, they would certainly not hesitate to do it in a case like this.
It also shows incompetence on the part of the doctors who diagnosed the infants, the judge and prosecutor. JS

A prosecutor helps to put away an innocent woman and then comes out publicly and say I'm sorry. David had to watch his son die while Patty went to prison for a crime she didn't commit and was called a baby killer by an idiot judge. No "I'm sorry" in the world can undo all of that. I remember this story in the original UM series and it broke my heart. I would sue if I were the Stalings.

There's no excuse for the hospital not to be able to research MA and find out what it's characteristics are especially when there are many doctors that know about it. They should have sued the hospital for 7.5 million dollars and the prosecuting attorney for about $3 million or so and probably the police as well.

Dales friend sounds very suspicious if Dale had to help move his friends ex wife out of state without Dale's friends knowledge for her safety. That tells me he's a very abusive person very capable of murder.
Noone cares about Dale missing only the mother being imprisoned. I understand that the other cases are important but sheesh not even a mention of Dale's disappearance. Clearly foul play is involved here....

On the Dale Williams Case, according to www.the-journal.com from May 23, 2019, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) “is still seeking clues in this 20 year old missing persons cold case. Anyone with information is to call 970-248-7500.”
So Robert stack had new episodes farina pretty much replayed the old episodes. Why even create a new show.

Iyad Subh there was a movie made about Danas case. It was really sad. They changed it to antifreeze supposedly being the poison that killed her baby. I think Lori laughlin played Dana.

Special enzymes then make changes to the amino acids so the body can use them. In the same way, fat from the food we eat is broken down by enzymes into fatty acids that the body can use for energy.
MMA occurs when one of these special enzymes is either missing or not working properly. Without this enzyme, certain amino acids and fatty acids cannot be used correctly. This causes glycine, methylmalonic acid, and other harmful substances to build up in the blood and urine and cause health problems.
There are a number of different forms of MMA. Some forms can be treated with vitamin B12 injections. These types are called ‘vitamin B12 responsive.’ Two types of MMA that often can be treated with vitamin B12 are Cobalamin A (CblA) deficiency and Cobalamin B (CblB) deficiency.
There are other forms of MMA which cannot be treated with vitamin B12. These types are called ‘vitamin B12 non-responsive.’ One of these is called ‘Mut 0.’ It is caused by the absence of an enzyme called methylmalonyl-CoA mutase (MCM). Another type of MMA that does not respond to vitamin B12 treatment is called ‘Mut -‘. People with the ‘Mut-‘ type of MMA have too little of the MCM enzyme.
