I like that the ship designers didn’t just make it a 70 foot ladder, so a man could fall to his death. They broke up the descent with stages and a spiral staircase. Found this quite intresting. I don’t work on ships. Cheers for upload.
Most important = no loose rust, no loose paint, no traces of previous cargo. Small rusty spots are the minor offence. Smile and showing micro spot that should be cleaned is already offence for ship's crew. But on other side - painting the tank top is crasy as hell. Another story, that nobody took a look inside bilges ( maybe later but have doubts). another story - no body took a look for rubber packing and man hole cover packing ( answers that only hold inspection carried out is doubtful). But in general surveyor checked the required places, advised crew for quicke improvements. But the same time - WE ALL KNOW THE REQUIREMENTS FROM SHIPPER IF CARGO IS NOT READY AND VESSEL IS ALREADY HERE. Give more video for survey - Good job and good approach.
Thank you for watch this simple video. I'm not a video editor, but I was trying to make it as good as possible for my short knowledge on movie editors.
Bom trabalho Amigo, legal ver esse tipo de video uma curiosidade foi aprovado ? pelo video parece que a ultima carga foi carvao e os frames and between frames aparentam esta no sujo ?
The cargo hold condition seems suitable for coal in bulk, but seems not pass for grain cargo such as rice, maize, wheat, etc., as well, due that was a grain survey, at least use white gloves or a piece of white paper that is rubbed against the hatch bulkhead, stool and hopper plating to ensure if any residue of the previous cargo stuck. Nice Video, thanks for sharing
I was working in morocco like inspector do the same work hold inspection and report seal as the final operation but i dont hve certificate or deploma can plzz tell me how to get certificate i wanna study it
Bro different countries have different requirments in some countries they hire medical doctors for sanitary inspection n some have entomolgist. i am workin in uae n in have bachelor in entomology
they have come on board, and enter Hold 1, I presume- there is no Entry into Enclosed spaces permit, there is no portable oxygen detector on the surveyor???? this is a dangerous video there is no safety cart either--------
Ravindra Singh Bhambral thanks for your visit to our video. The hatch covers are about 17,5m by 15m and are normally opened for at least 03:00hrs for proper ventilation before any inspection and also the exhaustion system shall run early A gas / Oxygen detector is frequently dropped into the cargo hold on every stages of the entrance for every cargo hold and I receive the results immediately on my mobile device. For sure I want to continue performing more inspections. Thanks for watching and have a great day! Give a like on our videos please. Regards Tavares
@@jquintinotavaresjr2288 what is under the cargo hold floor? can you get under the floor through those ports in the corners? Theat space must be a hazard, as an enclosed space. the Cargo hold is so huge, it is like being outside. Do clouds form in it?

Actually it is required by the regulations that the ladder is not more than some meters (6 or 7 if I remember correctly) high
This Footage Remember me When I Was a Surveyor and Going to the Inner Anchorage by the Sea Pilot for The Initial Survey.

With that rust I’m not sure I’d approve that for food grade transport.
They take some money from the captain and approve it
theres nothing wrong with a little rust
What grain was intended to load? And what was the previous cargo?
