I am so in love with the 2nd dress you made! It's so much more modern and fun now and I love the shape and the bias tape in that yellow color! The cropped jacket over top is adorable and I love how you had it kind of open just playing around with it. So amazing!
Yes, the bias tape in the yellow really set off the entire outfit although it was spectacular to begin with. Just made it better! The jacket is perfection. ❤️
I have just discovered you and I am in awe. Who taught you how to sew you clever girl! I am a 67-year-old woman who had a mother who was a terrific seamstress but alas never taught me how to sew, I always regretted that and am now trying to teach myself. You are an inspiration!! Subscribed!!!
You make me smile & the outfits are fab. Love the 60s look quilted dress. 10/10 for the zip too. 👌😊 What's really good too is so little material was wasted. 👍
aww thanks!! that set is such a cute little mod style! oh yeah, i also keep any larger usable pieces to make into household needs (I'm working on potholders currently) or larger projects!
Sew cute!!! 😂🤓 Both of these sets are ahhhhhmazing! Love that they’re separates and you can make so many outfits out of these pieces. Also thank you so much for the way you show and tell what you’re doing. I have aspirations of one day learning to sew and I feel like all your thrift flips are like a mini class. ❤️❤️
haha thanks! i can't resist flipping pieces into sets - they're just so versatile! aww im glad! sometimes i feel chaotic, but try my best to still show haha
OMG....both outfits are adorable.....Love the first out best, b/c I love the colors and the fringe bottom !!! Your nails also match perfectly with the first outfit !!! So much fun...I love your vision !🐱🦮😊
You are awesome!! I love watching your flips. You keep them fairly simple. I been sewing for a long time but never really liked the complicated look let alone stitching it together!! Lol !!
@@WellLoved you should be!💕 Honestly you made making pants look so easy and I have patterns but haven't tried yet😳 you deff have given me the courage to make it my next project 😁🪡
Oh my goodness-bless the person who taught you to sew! 🪡🧵 I wish I were as talented as you! The blue/turquoise robe turned into a dress and jacket is outstanding! I agree with you it is the best! It’s so great to be able to rescue these clothes and make such unique items from them. You would never find anything like this today. I finally found someone who likes, no-LOVES clothes as much as I do.
@@WellLoved You’re so blessed-sewing is a wonderful and useful thing to know. So many times I would like to change or alter items and don’t know how. I will attempt to learn. My mama couldn’t sew but she made a great telephone information operator for many decades.
@@WellLoved I do know a great tailor but of course that option gets a bit pricey after a bit. I will try to watch some videos and see what I can learn-I have already learned some things and have gotten ideas from your videos! Thanks so much!
@@WellLoved May I ask if you will be posting any new items in your shop from your latest thrift video and if so-when may you be posting them for sale? Thank you!
Omg you progressed a lot!! Congrats the boho-ish set from the scarf is gorgeous, details are neat! Makes me want to craft one too! Blue dress is also super cool. I should buy some bias tape because clearly the aesthetic is awesome, it looks like real clothes from 70's. Take care
You probably already know this hack, but if your ribbon is synthetic you can slightly melt the ends with a lighter to keep them from fraying! Also...love it over the turtleneck!
Blue dress and jacket is the cutest thing ever. Some white boots would look classic. If you decide to add a zipper to the jacket please share. It would look fire.
@@WellLoved I lived during the 60's and 70's. I was in High School in the early 70's It was a fun time. I was a hippie chick with hair down to my waist.

Your mastery of bias tape 😍🔥
Haha it’s my favorite little tool!
I would have loved to seen the fringe at the bottom of the crop top also.
i thought about doing that, but the amount of fabric i had left with the fringe on it wouldn't have been enough
Both outfits are cute
dress set is super amazing!
agreed!! thank you!
These are so much more interesting to watch. I would like to see more of these. Thank you.
thanks!
Those 2 projects are so cuuute! I specially Love that blue ensemble 😍. You inspired me to take a second look at a bag of donations I have in my car 🤭
