thank you so much for these words. I have an ED and this helped me so much because I now realise how much I want to chance something. Thanks for encouraging!

I need to track bc of my digestive disorders. I can't eat like a binge of food til I'm not hungry....my stomach starts pushing food back up into my throat and chest and I start coughing up undigested food. I have a para esophageal hernia where it herniates vertically in my esophagus, where as the hiatal hernia that was fixed, pushed my stomach into my chest cavity . I even had a point where I was a day from death. My stomach flipped on itself after I ate a like 6 samosas one night. Had to have surgery to reduce the stomach size and to attach to the cavity wall and wrap it around the lower esophageal sphincter
There is no such thing as intuitive eating. Counting calories is a heuristic tool to get a grasp on your needs and how to fill them and the basic calories for portion ratios. If your don't start to learn, you'll never be able to have an "intuition" (even if it's the wrong term) of what to eat to be satisfied.

Yes! Intentional eating. We live in a very toxic cultural food environment and must be alert and intentional
