If I want thicker straps (say, maybe, 2-3 inches wide) how would I do that? Also, what body measurements did you use for the top sizes you listed? Like bust size and such
This is a cute top and great video but the sizes don’t translate. I’ve made the large using your pattern and have had to make adjustments. The bust areas don’t translate at all for larger sizes so I sewed together two triangles together for the cups. Then crochet a back and added that to complete the top kind of like a halter. I think for someone who is a size XS this top is perfect but for anyone with curves it doesn’t translate well.
Hi Ella! This top is designed with a negative ease (to make it fit tightly and not too loose) based on standard bust sizes according to the Crafty Yarn Council. Not everyone has standard measurements, and it's great you were able to adjust the pattern to your specific measurements :)

Hi Julia, thank you for your comment. All my patterns are made using the standard measurements provided by the Craft Yarn Council. You can easily make adjustments for your specific measurements. If you cannot get the top over your head, it sounds like your ribbing band along the bottom is too tight. I suggest trying that part again and not sewing the ribbing band too tightly, or even adding some rows to the band. Luckily, that's an easy adjustment to make without wasting any yarn. :)
