Katie Kate! I'm typing this just coming off a nasty bout of 'Rona that included some ferocious vertigo n fever. This virus does not like us on two wheels! But so glad you conquered and had a fun day with the girls. I had to giggle at your friend and her anxiousness with stair descents ..... I think quite a few of us have these peculiar fears then off we go, full speed on our two wheels. Happier than Larry! Pure joy captured in this video!
Back at the end of 2018 I suffered with it and was bed bound for two weeks. When I got on the bike weeks later I found the right shoulder Vance's were a problem, but forward motion no issue. Reading u on Tim Peaks he mentioned fixing you gaze on one point when dizzy to cure the spinning sensation.....that worked as you have to re-wire the brain because there is to medical cure. Still ride and tour now without any problems as you can recover, just takes time. A note though.....it is something you have to declare to the DVLA as a notifyable conditions. Thanks for all your blogs and Frank honest comments, great stuff to follo :)
Fantastic to see you back on a bike after all that you've been thru Kate 🥰👏👏👏👏👏🌶️ and what a first ride....had a fantastic holiday in the dales and fantastic walks around Askrig.....Skelldale house fame 👍
I'm so happy for you that you're back on a bike! I had to have 5 years off, and that feeling when you get back on is amazing (if a little scary). I was advised not to ride again, but my Nurse and Dr's are aware, I got a massive lecture on safety gear! But, the feeling of being back on a bike can't be replaced with anything else. Hope you stay heathly now, and we're all looking forward to more videos, my kids love watching them with me. Keep it up! 💯👍👏👏
Hi Kate happy to see your feeling better again. There's no better medicine than a day out on the bikes with your mates. Looking forward to your next episode Kate luv your work .
I like the way you ride Advanced style. I noticed a blue car pulling out while you were obscured by the red car turning left. You waved your bike to attract blue car’s attention. Brilliant! Or,… we’re you dancing to your favourite tune (just kidding)😃. Any way, great videos from a great rider.
Thanks Kev! Still loads to learn of course! And yes, in 2011 I got pulled out on and crashed into by a car in that exact position so I just try to do a little weave to help them see me 😬💃
Hey Donna, You should have had them pop up, i managed to continue posting twice weekly and not break schedule thanks to pre recorded content, pillion vlogs and vlogs that didn't require riding. Thanks for the well wishes :)
My stomping ground, although I have literally been a pansy this year and have gotten nowhere on my bike. My hubby has had me watching your channel for a while now to try and get me into gear again. Really enjoy it!! 20 years riding. I did 120 miles this year. I own a VRaptor1000. Honestly know what you've had with the c-vid. I'm in day 14 and it's a belter!
Great to see you back on 2 wheels again Kate wearing your swanky helmet and dark visor I love that lid and when you slam your visor down ride safe lovely greetings from your friend Stevie lea..
Nice to see you back again, I could hear the excitement in your voice, lovely😊I could tell that you've learned some roadcraft from Username Dad with your positioning and the way you "waggled" the handlebars when the car you were following turned off, as another car crept toward the junction you moved the handlebars so the driver would (hopefully) see movement, it's a "hey I'm here" tactic, really looking forward to Ep2, oh btw I'd never have been able to resist those gorgeous sausage rolls at the first eatery, even if I put it in the top box for tomorrow, yummy, your lunches looked great btw.😋
Great video. I got vertigo caused by the same inner ear issue, not nice, the ‘travel sickness’ type symptoms lasted months. But there are head movement exercises that speed up recovery.
Glad you're feeling better, that was a great route, some stunning scenery and roads just a shame I'd need to travel nearly 200 miles to get to those roads
Thanks for adding the little bits of info about stopping points and route Kate! Really good idea and not seen this from any other motovloggers before. Really glad you’re feeling better, can’t wait for more content!
I know this is a month or so old, but its so good to see you back. More importantly your first ride back was just down the road from me, Tan Hill pub is about 40mins away
Glad you're back on the bike Kate 👍 it's a right PITA being laid up 😑, I like your vlogs, nothing nasty or derogatory, just nice biking fun. Love the comments about the roads, I live in Mid Wales, and the nearest dual carriageway is 34 miles away, nearest motorway 48 miles away 😄 Love it, spend loads of time on B and U roads, and since getting a CRF300 Rally (to my other 3 bikes), trails as well, nothing worse than boring tarmac, really looking forward to part 2 👍 On a different topic, having owned 96 bikes I've just ordered BLINDLY, (very unlike me) a Honda Hornet 750, to replace my CB500F as they look basically the same, weigh the same, but twice the power, .... hopefully fun, no idea when it will be delivered, and Just put my 2 Kwak's on SORN for winter, oh the joy of winter biking, only just around the corner (had our first frost 2 days ago 😔) Take care 🙂

Kate, as always great road and scenery footage.Time with good biking mates after being laid up for months is a true joy and something that I can also relate to having been in that situation more than once myself. Well done Kate.
@@UsernameKate we can live with reduced hearing, don't have to do selective hearing or pretend we didn't hear our bosses 😀 then, but great to get your equilibrium back
Great blog Kate, Hell I was salivating over those sausage rolls , really miss pies, just don’t do them here in Sweden,I will have to get a fix when I visit my brothers next year😂❤️used to be a great pie shop in Bollington near maccelsfield, meat and gravy.Good to see your fully healthy again and enjoying riding with your girl friends🏍🙏🇸🇪❤️
Great to have you back, enjoying yourself, thought you were riding well on the California superbikes day but wow if that was with impairments then I really must take my hat off to you, very impressive that you managed to take everything in and continue improving, looking forward to part 2
Labyrinthitis is awful. I had it first around 8 years back, started feeling sick, then everything started spinning, had to lay on the floor, even lifting my head up slightly it was like sitting in a spin dryer. Rang the ambulance service, who thought it could be a stroke with the symptoms, so sent paramedics. After being taken to hospital they found it was the Labyrinthitis. After medication within a couple of hours was sent home. Since then, I've had it back about 4 times, but now have medication with me, and it sees it off before it fully kicks in. I've found, each time its comeback was after being out on the bike in really hot weather or walking around in the same. Keep hydrated, it helps.
Love the “drunkenness starting” comment! I had labrynthitis a few years back and was stopped by a policewoman outside WH Smith’s at 09:30 for being absolutely pie eyed. At that stage I had no idea what was wrong, apart from the fact I hadn’t touched a drop for a couple of days. It took some sorting out, especially as I got hauled away in a van from Romsey Market Place to the nearest nick. The police doctor realised and sent me to my GP. It took 2 months to clear, but 6 months to get cleared for work (I’m a pilot by profession) anyone who gets labrynthitis gets my full sympathy, it sucks more than a brand new Dyson.
Hello Kate. Can you tell me what is the GPS you are using - is it BMW and did you fit it / is it connected to your phone. And what handlebar mount did you use. Thanks Paul
Hi UK a lot of people got health problems these days which slow us down from time to time but it’s a good chance to rest and contemplate 🤔. Just got an XJ6 Yamaha which is gr8 but noticed like my old wheels 🛞 it’s a loud click into 1st gear . Do you get a similar occurrence on the bikes you ride L355 💙🙏☕️💯
is a typical "to do" that owners of Adventure Bikes let the engine almost spin till ~6000min^1 ? Do you reach-out each gear to the max. spin...sometimes?
Bloody hell Kate it sounds like you had the rona bad😷, good to see your feeling better and out on your bike 🏍.. the roads up north look bloody awesome 😎, down south there’s now so much traffic on the roads it’s becoming a pain in the 🍑💨.. that fireblade looks awesome, but I am a bit of a fan, well I do own one 😂..
