Yay! I’m picking one of these up today so I can’t wait to learn about it from you. I have a 201, a 15-91, and a 99k and you’ve helped me with all of them so far. I’m so grateful!
I have wanted to know more about these! And thanks for the tease…”I’m not even going to show you that.” You know when I hear something is gross and “schmoo monster” you have my attention. Don’t give yourself a hernia getting that one off the bench! 😂
OMG! With all your respect 🙌 👏 🙏 👌 I love you. Thanks so much for getting back with a demonstration. Believe I was doing half wrong. Thanks you for saving me and Hercules because I can bearly carry it.😅
I have a 31-15 and a 31-20. I wish you had done this 2 weeks ago. I had to remove the handwheel by tapping gently with a rubber hammer, on the hand wheel, didn't want to move much because as you say it was full of schmew!!!!!! I saw this on another one of your videos, but it was not a 31-15. I was going to use hubby's gear puller but alas it was too big. I see how handy they are and am definitely getting my own! I am looking forward to more videos on the 31-15. I am guessing by your refusal to show how dirty it is, that it is just as bad as mine was!!!
@@BobFowlerWorkshop that would be amazing! Not a big rush, I'm going to be playing with my 201-2 for now, but I have a line on a 31-20 that needs some TLC
I have some vintage "gear-driven" (no belt) machines that I'd like to replace with a new, modern motor and foot pedal. And advice if this can be done and what "wheel" would I use? Thanks.
I checked your site, I found the 31-15 user manual but not the adjuster manual. I just got a 31-15 on a treadle base in ROUGH shape and since it was performing subpar when I got it, and I had to pull the needle bar to get at some major chunks of grime behind it, Im anticipating having to re-time it once its all back together. Any word on where that manual might be found?
😅❤That is indusrial! Aa fwesomeness! I have a frieSEnd wbho hooked me upset with a Paff 145! He does machines for embroidering. Awesome mechanics. CHARECOSEW. Griffen Cooper. I have learned to appreciate machines.
I own one of these monsters and I am really looking forward to learning more about how to care for it! Thanks!!!
Just reviewing again to put Hercules parts back . Thanks for everything you do.
Glad to be of assistance!
It will be interesting to see refreshing this big one!
Hey, they must have been my neighbors. Anyway, hope to see this one working before long. Thanks for sharing Bob. I would love to see that 95-10!!!

What a Godsend this video was. I was having that exact problem. Thank you so much!
Can you do a video on the differences in cleaning/rebuilding a 31-20?
If I can get a 31-20 I'll do a highlight video, but that may take some time.

Hi
Is there a way to adjust the pedal to slow down the machine? i know replacing pulley on motor to a smaller one is one way but is there any other way?
