Did you have fun dances like what is shown in this episode? I think they did away will that many years ago. Seems like there were more freedoms back then. I feel cheated by modern society.

So glad i never watched tv while growing up and growing old. If i had seen the show Hazel I might have bought a tv 60 years ago. But it is great to see them now
Thanks for the upload. Hazel was a great show. I wonder what they cut out to put that five minute commercial in there😬😒. Still, it was nice to see the show. 😁🙏
I was 10 years old when this was on. The Black Telliphone like little Harold was using was what my mom always picked and they were free along with a paid service. If you picked a color phone it was extra. In them days it was always the woman who handled the household budget while the man was the Bread winner.
The show is great - watched it as a child - even when Hazel is rarely wrong, as in this episode (i.e. over mothering - or rather smothering Harold), it is meant to kindly instruct and an opportunity for us to learn.
So good to see you Tipper. I'm so thankful Granny is doing better. And I've enjoyed seeing your beautiful!! Still praying for Granny and hope she can get to come home soon!!!🙏❤
I was born too late to appreciate the era this photo play loosely emulates. And though I realize this show is based on best case scenarios, perfect endings, and is not an accurate depiction of the clockwork of the real world, it sure makes me feel good when I watch an episode. Makes me realize how we have disassociated ourselves with the simpler things.
A sweet, charming, emotionally moving, comedic/dramatic Fall, 1964 NBC episode of "Hazel". :) Sadly-in 1974-at the age of 22-Bobby Buntrock (Harold Baxter) died in an automobile accident in California. :(
I like how Harold dashed across the street in the first scene without looking. Yes, it is the Warner Ranch back lot with no traffic but not a good look. The Warner Ranch? Well, it was recently demolished to expand sound stages and office buildings but the place for the exterior shots or Hazel and the Bewitched house right next door.
it was a 20 minute show and it took probably quite a few takes to one scene because of bloobers they did. They made it selightful though. The reason for the why though they made the weight problem was because Rosie bet with Hazel that she couldn't keep him the diet to lose weight, and Hazel didn't want to lose the bet. Although George would talk her out of it, she never let Rosie know that she lost the bet.
They went to Afghanistan for George’s new job. I can’t remember what episode it was before they left but a travel agent came to their house and told them how they could get there. I wonder if this was intentional on the part of the writer or producer and Don and Whitney weren’t aware
Accoring to what they said the bridge was unsafe to cross chance crossi but he tried it anyway going somewhere know it was under repair. Just because signs weren't posted he thought he could cross it. They claimed his car doors were jamed in the mud and he couldn't get out. So he went ahead and chanced it. It was his own doing. Sometimes people just do n't know. We shouldn't put our lives in that kind of danger. he had made some movies after Hazel. he hadn't retired as they had said.
@@bovnycccoperalover3579 There was even 1 show when Hazel was going to marry a sailor & Harold was going to go with Hazel & be a Cabin Boy, he would have miss school if Hazel got married & became a Cabin Boy
One of the worst shows on tv. Never could stand that Shirley Booth, she and her voice were extremely annoying. She always thought Mr.Baxter was fat, he never was. Hazel was obese, she needed to look in the mirror. This is definately the worst sitcom ever.Bleh!! My Mother the Car was better than this.
Love Hazel. My favorite show!
Makes me think of my happy childhood.

She s been in very old b& w movies she wad awonderful actress. I Google her stuff. Some were in my You tube.❤😂
I have never seen Hazel before, and I must say I love Hazel! It's clean, funny, and the people are normal.
If being nosy, controlling, and egotistical busybody is "normal" to you, I guess it is.
Well said my friend,
I do totally agree😊
Thanks so much for putting Hazel on here!!!! Love that show!!! Please post more please!! Thanks
I will try
I love this show. The oldies are the goodies
I hope so much you’ll find more of Hazel! It’s really one of the best old tv shows ever! Thank you for this episode. 😊🙋🏻♀️
Hazel is the best tv show ever
She's a lot like my favourite great Aunt 🤗
Although I love the show I would have to say the Beverly Hillbillies is the best tv show ever...😊
I love Lucy is best TV show ever

Love this show hazel was the best
Hazel was very smart. She always seems to know everything. It's it to bad she didn't get married.
So glad i never watched tv

I might have bought a tv 60 years ago.
But it is great to see them now
woman looks so pretty in that blue dress. classy and beautiful
Whitney Blake, Meredith Baxter's mother.
Go Hazel Go , long live Miss Hazel ❤🎉
Whitney Blake in that sleeveless blue turtleneck dress. No wonder she’s incredibly beautiful.
Hazel was a Yenta!!!!
'Yenta' translation is Yiddish for busy body aka sticks her nose in other people's business or life!!!
That happens when you have no business of your own
We need more Yentas in our world!!! We need people who make us smile and have empathy
The actress who played Zelda was also the snobby head of the club Marcia was trying to get into on the Brady Bunch volcano episode?
Aw I used to watch this all the timeee!!! (I'm still a teen 😂)
Meet Tooo!!!!
TY for posting these. The ads make it feel like TV though.

You got that right! It's a different world these days.
You are the only one that forces us to watch the commercials
THESE WERE THE DAYS
The commercials were torturous . No option to skip. BOO!
You can just move past with the red time counter to skip them
Dig that swingin' party music! Haha!
Hazel the Best of the Best!
Always enjoy Hazel. That you
Wanted to watch commercials I will just watch it on regular TV comes on every day

I thought he died in Montana
Did you notice the house behind them is the I think they taped the last season in I think , or it may have been another one.
This house reminds me of the house I grew up in.

We looked as we ran, as I remember. Kids did a lot of that! Maybe they still do?
Zelda thinks she knows it all. Wants to be controlling and Harold runs. He’s smarter than they think. Lol.

Silvio LOVED this show!!
Those were the days
I was shocked to learn how bobby died at such a young age 21.
Any info on what happened to the original Mr. And Mrs. B ? I know the plot and everything but always wanted to know.
Supposedly they went to a foreign middle eastern country for Mr. B’s work. They call in the first new episode with the second family.
They went to Afghanistan for George’s new job. I can’t remember what episode it was before they left but a travel agent came to their house and told them how they could get there. I wonder if this was intentional on the part of the writer or producer and Don and Whitney weren’t aware
I love this show. I wish I could get it on TV?
On FETV weekday mornings at 9 am central time
She’s on Antenna TV
Thank God it wasn't a pot party after all it was in California in the 60's.

Everyone- you can pass the commercials easily… just move the red line counter ahead
And this one Hazel so nosy the kids growing up Hazel
And poor Dobie Gillas has been trying to get rid of his Zelda for years now 😂
These LONG LONG LONG commercials are totally un=necessary. I'll watch the ones that are uninterrupted!!
Looking forward to watching his afternoon 'Hazel' is all that gets Creepy Joe Biden through each day!
Good for the teacher
It's weird to know that Bobby Buntrock died at age 21 drowning in a river after driving off a washed-out bridge
Ahh Damn!
@@davidlium9338 Looks like he would have known better.
Thanks for sharing this update
From what I heard there had been several acident on that bridge. Something isn't right about it.
So tragic. Not only did Bobby die unexpectedly in a car crash at age 21, but on the very same bridge as his mom died just one year before. Sad
♥️💕💘😍😍❤️
Wonder why Baxters only have one child ?
Hazel made the best fried chicken
I swear batteries r made by suckling all that energy from kids. Lol
Do you think Hairold was Hazel & Georgeo's kid? I think so that why Hairold stayed when George's brother & sister in law moved in
No, Harold stayed behind so he wouldn't miss school.
@@bovnycccoperalover3579 There was even 1 show when Hazel was going to marry a sailor & Harold was going to go with Hazel & be a Cabin Boy, he would have miss school if Hazel got married & became a Cabin Boy

Dumb infomercials during this video.
It is funny what a 10 year old girl says validates the character of a 10 year old boy more than what his parents would. Speaking of a naive child.

Didn't ur mother teach u any manners? If u don't have anything nice to say than SHUT UR BIG TRAP! enjoy ur summer karen. God bless u.
I don’t hate hazel but she couldn’t work for me with all her meddling. I’d end up telling her to go dust something the first time she butted in
Don't watch Hazel then
