Have you made any of the patterns in the Mama Mad Minis Knotted Lovey Book? Tell me which ones you have made and if you have found this video helpful. Thanks for watching!

I've made 2 of the Dash the Dinos for my grandson. I made Dusty Dragon in raspberry purple with mint green spikes and he's my favorite so far. I'm working on Letty Lamb now,in pale pink and raspberry as the contrasting color. She's looking very cute so far!! Next will be the monkey, also for my grandson who loves Curious George. I REALLY enjoyed your video!! Thank you!

@@kirstenvzumba9246That's great!! I bet they are adorable! We've really loved making these loveys and especially love pairing them with story books. Curious George is a great idea! Thanks for watching.

I thought this was an actual “how to”, or tutorial. The title lead me to believe I could follow along with my first toy and my book.

I'm sorry you are disappointed. We are not the designer of this particular pattern so we are sharing the tips we have learned from crocheting several of these items. Our tips help answer questions many people have when they are learning a new pattern and are specific to this pattern. If we went stitch by stitch through the pattern it would be a copyright infringement, so the best we can offer are all the tips and give demonstrations on what we are talking about. I know the designers provide some tutorials so that would be the best place to look for an actual walk through of this design. Thanks for watching!

I need to try this pattern next. Yours looks great! My favorite sheep pattern is the baby sheep by Old Soul Crochet. She has a very detailed RUclips crochet along (CAL). I use her method of stuffing a nylon on the Mama Made Minis loveys to help make them safer for babies.

I looked her up, her patterns are adorable! I love the fleece additions. I'll have to try it! I'm going to try and find the nylon method, because anything to keep the babies safer!

I had problems with the legs it seems you have to crochet several more rows in order to knot them did you have a problem?

I personally haven't had this problem, but I could see it being problematic! Especially if you have a tighter gauge.

I love the crochet part but hate the sewing lol

ahh, sewing, my (least) favorite part! I have to do it immediately or it's gonna sit in a WIP basket for a long time!

    Good video!
I was curious if you stuffed the feet?
I've already done the hippo, unicorn and now almost completed the lamb but the pattern doesn't call for stuffing the feet so i thought maybe because the yarn is dark and the stuffing is always white.

    • @WindyHillCrochet

That's a good question! I haven't stuffed any of my lambs feet, and I don't think it really needs it. I've stuffed hooves for cows and unicorns, but those are just to hold their shape. The sheep arms and legs are made in all half double crochet which makes it less suitable for stuffing, as well.

We are definitely adding more Mama Made Minis content and will be going over that in another video! There is a little showing of the idea of how the legs are constructed in our Dinosaur video: ruclips.net/video/4IJh-TMwMU4/видео.html
