Say man, I’ve been watching and learning from you for years, I have one question: do you (or could you make one) have any vid tutorials on how you capture, record and mix your sound? I know there’s tons of vids up on how to do it, but I’d like to see your approach, how you treat the room, how you mix, tools, etc. you do it so well.
Thanks Noman 🙏 Although I appreciate your interest, my recording techniques are incredibly sub par and I would be embarrassed to make a tutorial about such a thing. My room isn’t treated at all, I just stick a couple half decent mics in front, add a bit of reverb, EQ and compression, make sure the levels are okay and away we go. The quality of the guitar, voice and performance are far more important to my “sound” than any recording techniques (or lack thereof). It’s really not that hard to record the way I do… it’s as basic as can be. My equipment details are listed at the bottom of every video 👍
