I'm really glad they made a lot of improvements to the original game. I think that really makes this one stand out the most is the setting, especially since I'm really into medieval times sort of setting. The world doesn't need another Present-day zombie game. I always love watching your videos, as you explain everything way better than other channels. I might have to give this one a go
Just got my kickstarter copy today! Can't wait to bust it out over the next couple of days. Thank you for this video! It made the differences between Classic and BP very apparent!
Awesome review as always! I gotta say, the plastic trays are such a HUGE difference from the old dashboards. I can't tell you how many times cards would get knocked off the table, the arrows would get lost, etc. It was a pain. These new ones make it so much better! Need to get the old ones resized so I can use them with all the Zombicide games.
Thanks for posting this. I am a backer and have been following development of Z:BP since it was announced. I enjoyed the game-play video CMoN put out of course, but your overview was nicely informational while still being succinct. Well done. Very much looking forward to the release.
So excited after watching this since I got my email a few days ago notifying me that I'll be receiving my core box of Black Plague in the mail today :D
I enjoy your show. Whenever I am in the mood to pick up a new game I always check to see if you did an overview or a play-through before I buy. I'm very jealous you have Black Plague. I can't wait to get mine this month.
Just bought this yesterday. Take it from me, it’s a awesome game. Hours of fun. And a vast amount of expansions to get more out of your game. Black Plague is definitely the game changer in the main Zombicide franchise.
Thanks Rodney! Just learned that every backer will be getting this before xmas with the rest to follow suit early next year! I'm super excited to be playing this for the holiday!
I know it's late; 8/4/2019, but this game is a BLAST!! My sons and I play it and we make an event out of it. Throw on some various movie soundtracks in the background and it becomes a memorable time with comments of "when can we play again." In this day and age of video games, I'm happy we found an old school tabletop to play.
+Norm Nevins Heya Norm! I actually didn't pick up the other Zombicide expansions either (I still had plenty left to play in the base game), but this I'm glad to have as well.
I have fond memories of watching the first (and only?) live stream play through of the original. And explaining to my wife why I had to monopolize our TV so I could watch someone thousands of miles away play a board game on the big screen :)
Instruccions on how to place the items back in the box is very useful. This is an interesting idea to pick by other games. I love the necromancer concept!
+Jean-François Bessette A full game would be nice, but if time is an issue, even a couple rounds would help. Showcase all the great stuff we'll be getting.
thanks Rodney! I was a backer of this one, looking forward to it.. the more I see those consoles, the more I'm hoping they do some sort of conversion kit for the original series. really looking forward to getting our family copy!
Do they have any plans to release an updated version of Zombicide with the awesome dashboards and minis storage box? I was intrigued by this, but then my desire vanished when you mentioned necromancers and spells.
I have been addicted to zombicide for a good while now (along with my wife) and this looks amazing! Luckily I caught it on kickstarter earlier this year and managed to back it, just had an update that they are sending out the core box now(ish) hopefully in time for Christmas!!! I don't think I have been as excited for a game delivery as much as I have for this one!
since there is no wound cards to replace items in black plague. Do the zombies not have the ability to take your items? Is that rule only in the original zombicide?
+Zaidden No plans to currently, but if you'd like you can check out our instructional and full live play through for regular Zombicide (check out playlists).
WotC D&D Dungeon Command has a nice black plastic tray the minis pressure fit into for storage. It has curved areas for tokens but if you store it straight up they need to be put in bags. good that some mega component games have been including ziploc bags these days. the gameplay card tray / tracker is a good idea.
+Watch It Played lol not a problem, great video as always. Thanks for the sneak peak on what I can be looking forward to in the New Year :) Hope you, Luke and Pep have fun splatting Zombies.
I am unclear as to the combat in Zombicide. my main question is while attacking, does each die represent an attack; for instance - if I use Clovis with a melee weapon that uses two dice and he has additional +1 die roll I am rolling a total of 3 dice, does that mean if there are three walkers in my zone if I successfully rolled I'd kill them all?
***** Then in the contrary if I am using three dice to do a ranged attack into a zone where a teammate is with two other zombies and i successfully roll 2/3 would the unsuccessful die hit my teammate?
This looks really interesting - I ordered the first game and is currently waiting for that (more because I want a whole bunch of minis to paint than actually play the game) and this might be something I would be interested in sitting down and play as well since they apparently got rid of that silly shooting rule - or at least made it make sense - and those dashboards are awesome. They might need a coat of paint as well. :D
@Watch It Played thank you for the awesome video, could you please tell me if you have to place noise on failed rolls to open door? It seems to be logical to place one for it is like you hit the door but not strong enough so that makes noise too right?
+Watch It Played Mine too, thank you for the quick reply and the elaborate videos 😊 I was confused because in a cool minis or not video they put noise tokens only in successful cases and it didn't seem to be in harmony with the rule book
Cool! Looks like most of the issues I had with the original game have been solved. May have to pick this up. The only thing I still don't like, which looks like it is still included in this version, is the zombies multiplying when splitting up during movement. That always caused problems!
Unlike our full rules videos, this was an overview, so while I normally try to answer all rules related questions we get, I’m not sure on this one without going back through the rule book.
i'm struggeling with the rules in moving zombies when there is no line of sight and there are multiple zones with the same noise tokens in it.Can u explain how that works?I read that zombies then split in that case, but if there are like three zones with the same noise tokens in it the zombies then split in three groups?
You may find our full rules video for zombicide can help there (not all the rules are the same, but the way zombies work is: ruclips.net/video/voQC7HVZ5uw/видео.html)
My understanding is that you put the Necromancer spawn token in the room where he spawned. Since this video is more of an overview, I'm not providing specific rule assistance for it though, so you may want to double check that with the publisher.
So this is like you throw Zombicide, dark ages, Dungeons and dragons and Borderlands into a cauldron, mix them up, perform voodoo magic for razzle dazzle and then take it out and this appears? Epic.
Hi Thomas, I think you will enjoy it. I played the original Zombicide a few times with just my previous housemate. Each person just took control of multiple survivors (rather than controlling one), worked fine, just had to remember the character's turn order. We had lots of fun :)
Hi, this game looks really cool, i am a beginner to table top games like these , do you reccomend any games for beginners similar to this or would this one be ok for me to understand everything easily?
Hey there, I can't help you much there as I avoid recommending games. I really don't think I can say for you whether or not you'll find it easy to understand. In my experience, people can be very different in terms of how easily they'll learn a game, and the types of games they enjoy. My hope is that with the videos, I can help give you enough information so you can determine if the game seems like a good fit. We have a full play through of Zombicide here, which might help you further: ruclips.net/video/voQC7HVZ5uw/видео.html
Watch It Played hello i have a question id like to ask , i have brought this game and enjoying it so far, watched a couple of videos of how to play etc, my question is how many times can we attack per turn? Per weapon?
Watch It Played also if you fire ranged weapon with 1 damage in to a zone where there is a runner and a fatty, the fatty gets priority but i cannot kill it with 1 damage do i go on to kill the runner or is that a miss??
Do you mean about that they are sending the core box a lot earlier than the rest of the items? I didn't confirm my pledge within the deadline, I made a late pledge, so, I don't really know when I will receive it.
Hey, this video isn't one of my traditional tutorial videos - this is more of an overview, and I don't have a copy of the game handy to check on that rule for you.
Hey David, I guess that would depend on how you assessed the balance of the original, which would be more of a personal opinion. I tend to avoid weighing in on that sort of thing, because every gamer is going to see it differently.
So the organizers are great IF (and this is a big IF) you do not buy any expansions. Once you start adding in the extra characters, baddies, etc (and there is a LOT of great ones to choose from) the base game insert become a space liability.
For me Zombicide can get a little repetitive, though it's good to play if you don't take it too seriously. What I would love is a dungeon crawler styled zombie game like Hero Quest
+Scott Newman If you think it is repetitive then you haven't purchased the expansion sets OR you haven't played all scenarios and quests provided in the book. Of course it has the same mechanics over and over: Kill zombies, get good weapons, survive, finish the mission. But with all the expansions you get almost infinite possibilities and it is also possible to merge expansions together and play with all different characters and zombies, so you make games even bigger. I own all expansion sets and I hardly thin its repetitive. And I think your statement is wrong. This game may be extremely fun, but you also play if you take it seriously. Not everyone can play zombicide, it's very complex and has a lot of small parts to it, so if you have a group of friends/ family that all like board games, you can make Zombicide a very serious game because in some scenarios it can get really hard and requires a lot of thinking for tactics (I speak from experience). If you just have the original game with no expansions and you finished the missions, then yes it becomes repetitive, but that's what expansions are for. So you don't fint it repetitive and boring, and the company had previously announced that several other expensions were going to come.
+TontonJojo123 I find it's best not to assume what others have purchased or played, based on their opinion of a game. Everyone is going to have their own unique experience, that won't always line up with yours. It's probably not necessary to tell someone that they are wrong for not enjoying a game in the same way that you do - know what I mean?
***** Yeah I know. Its just that Zombicide is such a large and complex game, there is so much to discover, always new characters to play with, new weapons to try. I mean you can even download scenarios from the internet that are not part of the original game to have new playing material. So it just seemed weird to me, although I never said his statement was stupid.
+TontonJojo123 I don't mean to pick on your enthusiasm for the game. I'm glad you're enjoying it so much :) I just don't think someone can be "wrong" if they say "for me, XXXX game can get a little repetitive". That's their experience. I have a favorite game. One of my close friends hates it. People just have different tastes - and that's okay. :)
Would love to see at least two rounds of the game being played with the rules articulated clearly. As someone who has never played it before and will be receiving the kickstarter, it will help me comprehend more fully how it is played. I realize you did this awhile ago, but you'd eliminated some of the rules, simplified it, and didn't have all the equipment. Two rounds, please! That's not too much to ask!
+Watch It Played Okay, then instead have the guys who did the playthough last time dress up as the Black Plague heroes and do a promotional dance celebrating the game's imminent delivery. Just make sure one of them is the nun.
Hey Andy, I don't review on this channel, as I don't think I can say for someone else what they won't find enjoyable (every gamer has different tastes), but hopefully the videos can give you a sense of whether or not they would be enjoyable to you.
+Bored Online? Board Offline! I never played with game rules regarding this, always house rules. which I think a lot of people agreed with, hence the change.... the only change I would make to these rules is that upon a miss, you have to roll to hit your survivor.
I think it's a really good game but they had to put more variety to monster's miniatures. .. i feel they are repetitive.... they could be cool mini or not but this point is missing.. in the expansion wulfsburg i recognized the same problem... 7x wolf 1st silhouette 7x wolf 2nd silhouette 7x 3rd silhouette and the boss.... thinkin of all the variety we had in werewolf apocalipse franchise and all other werewolf themed games I think they could have done a better job... givin much respect for all the artists makin extra miniatures for the game, they made an amazing work, but basic monsters from the basic game and the expansion are repetitive to the extreme.
+Watch It Played Ya know...this comment got me thinking. When was the last time you did a playthrough for a game that WASN'T sent to you ahead of time, that you had to actually pay for yourself? I'm curious. I'm guessing at least two years ago. Regardless, Merry Christmas to you and yours and best wishes for the holidays!
+Geoffimus I own all full games and expansion sets and I 100% guarantee it that once you know the rules and get into it, it becomes great fun. If you have friends and family to play with, you can do really large games that last couple of hours and its exactly like a Walking Dead on board game or Left 4 Dead on board game, its complex and a lot of fun. Plus if you get some expansions like Toxic City Mall or Prison Outbreak, you actually get new types of zombies, new characters and new weapons, so it gets better, larger and more complex. I think its worth it, and you easily get into it.
+Jim Blizzard That is exactly what its meant to be. You can think of it as a Walking Dead board game or perhaps a Left 4 Dead board game, same survival principle and so on. And I realized that it is actually the first of its kind, where all players play together against the game itself in an RPG style.
+Eric Frederick No worries, they only have a couple copies for checking the final production, and they kindly gave me one of them to share with you fine folks!
Do gamers actually like playing with minis that are grey? Only 10% of people will ever paint them. I wouldnt buy this game because of the Grey Minis, it makes the game look so bad. Its like playing an incomplete game.
I don't know the percentages, but I don't often hear complaints about grey miniatures specifically. I have more commonly heard complaints when miniatures aren't detailed enough, or the plastic is soft and droopy. Either way, I'm glad the video was able to give you a look at the components so you could decide this wasn't the right fit for you.
I'm really glad they made a lot of improvements to the original game. I think that really makes this one stand out the most is the setting, especially since I'm really into medieval times sort of setting. The world doesn't need another Present-day zombie game. I always love watching your videos, as you explain everything way better than other channels. I might have to give this one a go
+Frosty Spazkins Glad you enjoyed this overview and our videos Frosty - thanks!
Santa if you are watching this I've been very good this year
+zwicky93 Let me know if Santa is watching!
***** Will do ;)
hahaha
+Watch It Played what your favorite zombicide zombicide of Black Plague
+Castledcolt2x or
Just got my kickstarter copy today! Can't wait to bust it out over the next couple of days. Thank you for this video! It made the differences between Classic and BP very apparent!
+Zymm Jacobus Hope you have a fun time playing :)
Awesome review as always! I gotta say, the plastic trays are such a HUGE difference from the old dashboards. Need to get the old ones resized so I can use them with all the Zombicide games.
+Chris Jordan It is a pretty handy upgrade to the components!
I feel like Zombicide games are the only games that provide good enough inserts where I don't need to just throw out the moment I open the game.
Thanks for posting this. I am a backer and have been following development of Z:BP since it was announced. I enjoyed the game-play video CMoN put out of course, but your overview was nicely informational while still being succinct. Well done.
Very much looking forward to the release.
+QorDaq Here's hoping you get your copy soon!
Watching your videos is really starting to dig a hole in my wallet. But still a great video as always, keep up the good work!
I love when y'all cover games that harken back to y'all's earlier years!
So excited after watching this since I got my email a few days ago notifying me that I'll be receiving my core box of Black Plague in the mail today :D
+ Tin Nguyen Have a great time playing and slaying!
I enjoy your show. Whenever I am in the mood to pick up a new game I always check to see if you did an overview or a play-through before I buy. I'm very jealous you have Black Plague. I can't wait to get mine this month.
+john morgan Here's hoping you're enjoying your copy very soon (and thanks for the kinds words about the show :) )
+Watch It Played I received my copy today!! It's going on the table tonight. Game on!
Just bought this yesterday. Take it from me, it’s a awesome game. Hours of fun.
And a vast amount of expansions to get more out of your game. Black Plague is definitely the game changer in the main Zombicide franchise.
So nice to know you've been enjoying it Brad!
Thanks Rodney!

+steven bambic I heard this too - yay :)

Thanks! I subscribe and regularly get a lot of tips and advice about tabletop gaming from this channel. I appreciate these videos.
Thanks for the kind words K - really nice to know you're enjoying the videos!
Thought I was done with Zombicide, haven't bought expansions...now I want this. Thanks!
+Norm Nevins Heya Norm! I actually didn't pick up the other Zombicide expansions either (I still had plenty left to play in the base game), but this I'm glad to have as well.
I didn't want to be...but your overview ruined that ;)
your videos are amazing. thank you for explaining these games in easy to understand tutorials!
Very kind of you to say - you're welcome!
Thanks again Rodney for this series! shared with my game group for an upcoming game night now that my late pledge has arrived. :)
I hope you have a great time playing Daniel!
I have fond memories of watching the first (and only?) live stream play through of the original. And explaining to my wife why I had to monopolize our TV so I could watch someone thousands of miles away play a board game on the big screen :)
+Lazy Peon Ha! Glad you joined us :) We did do 2 other live videos. Five Tribes and Tiny Epic Defenders.
Instruccions on how to place the items back in the box is very useful. This is an interesting idea to pick by other games.
I love the necromancer concept!
+Rafa Gonzalez Yes, I'd love to see more games include instructions for how to put the contents back in the box!
+Watch It Played That attention to details make makes me think this people really love what they do :)
How is the quality of the figures compared to the modern zombicide? Are the soft and bend slightly? Or are they hard plastic?
Great video as always!
+shin51 Not exactly sure. I don't feel that they are a soft plastic, but there is a slight bendiness to them.
i would say that its slight, if you buy like a mini that has a big sword sticking out, it might bend
Lovely improvements there with the character cards. Cannot wait to get this version. Thanks for the video dude.
+Mainframe You're welcome!
your the best how to play games on RUclips. Great job
Thanks Dave!
Rodney you answer more comments than any other youtuber...how do you find the time? Your the best...keep up all the fine work you do sir.
Thanks for the encouragement - I do my best!
Can we expect a play through with Luke and Pep?
+Jean-François Bessette I would enjoy doing a play through of this - we'll see!
+Jean-François Bessette A full game would be nice, but if time is an issue, even a couple rounds would help. Showcase all the great stuff we'll be getting.
Watch It Played I don't know if you guys did, but it would be great to see.
These games make me really want to get good at miniature painting.
I know what you mean - I'm envious of the people who can do it really well.
There you have some painted zombis:
paint2play.wordpress.com/2016/03/25/zombicide-black-plague-group-001/
B.A.D. Dickie YES! I was thinking the same thing!!
onei OMG that's some good painting.
thanks Rodney! I was a backer of this one, looking forward to it.. the more I see those consoles, the more I'm hoping they do some sort of conversion kit for the original series. really looking forward to getting our family copy!
+Mike Sprague The dashboard is a really clever design.
Do they have any plans to release an updated version of Zombicide with the awesome dashboards and minis storage box? I was intrigued by this, but then my desire vanished when you mentioned necromancers and spells.
+Actualol I don't know what their plans are for the other line.
They said they have no plans to update the older sets dashboards
I like how this version of Zombicide made improvements from the original game. My friends and I really enjoy it.
Glad you've been enjoying it!
I was not very interested in the original Zombicide but this looks very attractive! Any idea how much of the previous content that mixes with this?
+Chris Gerrard Basically, as much as you want. You could bring heroes and figures over easily. And certainly weapons too.
I have been addicted to zombicide for a good while now (along with my wife) and this looks amazing!
Luckily I caught it on kickstarter earlier this year and managed to back it, just had an update that they are sending out the core box now(ish) hopefully in time for Christmas!!!

since there is no wound cards to replace items in black plague. Do the zombies not have the ability to take your items? Is that rule only in the original zombicide?
Sorry, this is an overview (not one of my traditional tutorials), so I can't help with specific rules questions on this title.
may you guys do a gameplay video of this board game!? Thank you!
+Zaidden No plans to currently, but if you'd like you can check out our instructional and full live play through for regular Zombicide (check out playlists).
Thanks for the review Rodney! It looks like they've done their homework and improved this game over the original.
+EngineerJeff And lots of minis for you to tackle Jeff :)
Good summary; thank you for the video.
You're very welcome!
any plans to do star wars imperial assault run through? maybe to celebrate the new film?
+Gary Tanswell No plans to currently. So many games, so little time!
Yes, it's nice seeing publishers consider how the components and insert can facilitate the game play.
Dammit Rodney, I've back this on Kickstarter but it's not going to arrive until Feb next year. Very very jealous of you! :)
+NoPreyRemains *sorry* They had a couple of early production copies and kindly shared one with me to share with you guys.
+Watch It Played lol not a problem, great video as always. Thanks for the sneak peak on what I can be looking forward to in the New Year :) Hope you, Luke and Pep have fun splatting Zombies.

Thanks for checking it out!
Love this game. Thanks Rodney!
You're very welcome :)
So how many expansions are out right now for the black plague core set?
I'm not sure off the top of my head. Their website might say.
@Watch It Played thank you for the awesome video, could you please tell me if you have to place noise on failed rolls to open door? It seems to be logical to place one for it is like you hit the door but not strong enough so that makes noise too right?
+Sage Syberian That's my understanding. After the action, success or fail, you place the noise.
+Watch It Played Mine too, thank you for the quick reply and the elaborate videos 😊 I was confused because in a cool minis or not video they put noise tokens only in successful cases and it didn't seem to be in harmony with the rule book

Thanks for posting!
Can zombies follow players through the vault?
Unlike our full rules videos, this was an overview, so while I normally try to answer all rules related questions we get, I’m not sure on this one without going back through the rule book.
Looks really great, the inventory system is a lot better than the first game
+Garth Palmer Yes, pretty slick :)

I AM SO EXCITED!!!!!
Just ordered Zombicide Black Plague! Can I add ANY expansions, as long as for a base game? Or do I have to look for ONLY Black Plague expansions?
I'm not sure exactly which expansions will be compatible, but you'll want the ones set in this fantasy based universe of Zombicide.
if a necromancer spawns in a building where does the spawn token go?
My understanding is that you put the Necromancer spawn token in the room where he spawned. Since this video is more of an overview, I'm not providing specific rule assistance for it though, so you may want to double check that with the publisher.
+Watch It Played wow that was fast! Thank you

Ha! Glad you enjoyed watching :)
+Watch It Played I'm getting original tomorrow, but which one should I have gotten first?
I avoid weighing in on that - each person will have their own unique preferences, to be sure.
Hey Rodney. Any plans to play through This game on the channel? :)
+Adam Gough I have not yet laid out my schedule of game plays for the new year, so keep an eye out to see.
One question comes to mind: How powerful of a weapon does it take to kill a necromancer?
+computermaster124816 1 wound weapons are enough.
+computermaster124816 it only takes a level one weapon to kill the necromancer
me and my wife are looking into this game can two people play this and have fun or is it more hassle than 2 people can manage?
Hey Thomas, I avoid reviewing or recommending, as each person and their group is going to be different and have different tastes.
Hi Thomas, I think you will enjoy it. I played the original Zombicide a few times with just my previous housemate. Each person just took control of multiple survivors (rather than controlling one), worked fine, just had to remember the character's turn order. We had lots of fun :)
getting this and Dead of Winter.
Enjoy!
Awesome video. Thanks again for your videos.
You're very welcome!
when opening a door is moving through it another action ?
Opening a door is its own action.
hey, does this game have the app you used for the original somdicide?
+Benjamin Sloneker I don't know if the app has been updated for this release yet.
+Watch It Played okay thanks.
can't wait to have my kickstarter copy! :)
Miss with a ranged weapon and automatically hit a friendly? I dont like the sound of that either. How about another roll to see if it hits a friendly.
This is a rule they've since updated in their other Zombicide games too.
+Nikita Bolotnov I don't think so, the spaces aren't the same.
I backed the kickstarter. I am really looking forward to having my copy of the game !! :-D
+Pepor Here's hoping you get it soon!
+Pepor you seen the update about how they are sending out the core box now?
Do you mean about that they are sending the core box a lot earlier than the rest of the items?
I didn't confirm my pledge within the deadline, I made a late pledge, so, I don't really know when I will receive it.
really good review man.. keep up the good work..
+Lahiru Gunasekera Thanks for checking it out Lahiru!
My question is: Are we able to dual weild 2 different weapons? I thought we HAD to dual wield the same weapons.
Hey, this video isn't one of my traditional tutorial videos - this is more of an overview, and I don't have a copy of the game handy to check on that rule for you.
Are you going to teach us how to play second edition?
Thanks for the interest - I talk a bit about that here: ruclips.net/video/EdtDuvIUa6A/видео.html&t=342
GREAT STUFF! I love it!
Would you say this version is more balanced than the original?
Hey David, I guess that would depend on how you assessed the balance of the original, which would be more of a personal opinion. I tend to avoid weighing in on that sort of thing, because every gamer is going to see it differently.
Have the game already been released?
+DanishArtist The US shipping will be in december as for the EU,mid january and early february.
+Feremir Production will finish end of January/ beginning of February as of right now, which means Aprilish delivery for US.
I guess Hell will freeze over before CMoN will ship to the EU so that they get it the same time as the US customers.
Yes (but mind you, I'm answering 5 years late...)
So the organizers are great IF (and this is a big IF) you do not buy any expansions. Once you start adding in the extra characters, baddies, etc (and there is a LOT of great ones to choose from) the base game insert become a space liability.
Yep, it's true!
Great game, great video! Thanks !
+Elvis Lucas A pleasure, Elvis!
Thanks,love your videos
Hey, you have to do a playthrough of this with Luke, if only to make the long wait for the rest of us more bearable ;-)
+Skyhawk We'll see!
Can we expect a playthrough? 😃
+Joshua Wilburn Not currently planning to, BUT I would like to, so we'll see :)
I want mine already! SHIP IT SHIP IT SHIP IT!
AAAARRGGHHH! You made me even more impatient my KS package to turn up!
+Skabbalabba dingdong Here's hoping to arrives soon!
+watsonsd1 Heh, you'd be surprised to learn what is involved :)
+Watch It Played Okay, then instead have the guys who did the playthough last time dress up as the Black Plague heroes and do a promotional dance celebrating the game's imminent delivery. Just make sure one of them is the nun.
You should make a gameplay video with luke
Thanks for the interest!
thanks! nice video.
You're welcome Tony, glad you liked it!
Is this an enjoyable game played in 1 player mode?
Hey Andy, I don't review on this channel, as I don't think I can say for someone else what they won't find enjoyable (every gamer has different tastes), but hopefully the videos can give you a sense of whether or not they would be enjoyable to you.
The ranged attack rule change makes this the first Zombicide to make it onto my wish list.
+Bored Online? Board Offline! I think it's a nice compromise for those that felt the previous rule was not thematic enough.
+Bored Online? Board Offline! I never played with game rules regarding this, always house rules. which I think a lot of people agreed with, hence the change.... the only change I would make to these rules is that upon a miss, you have to roll to hit your survivor.
@@clawilewak
the survuvor does get to make an armor roll ofc, is he or she has any :-)
Ranged Attacks fixed in BP, and in a fair way!
+vmi02raven Yes, I think some people will be happier with this.
Such a cool game 😎
Watch it played what's you favorite zombicide of all seasons
I only played the first one, though I am curious about the others.
Angry Neighbors is by far the WORST expansion ever
You and Luke should play Black Plague.
Cheers mate - thanks heaps :-)
+vanzetti7 A pleasure!
Did you end up getting a chance to try the game?
Yahhhhh, you have an advance copy GREEN EYED JEALOUSY!!!
+Ivan Conrad Yes, a nice thing to have, BUT I did hope sharing it meant quite a few more people could get a look at it as well :)
+dreadknot69 I don't know off the top of my head. Have a good holidays too!
thanks for teaching"
My pleasure Jason - thanks for checking the video out!
That's a beaut.
Thanks for checking it out!
Hmmm, this or Zombicide 2nd Edition
Yes... I think I'm gonna take the patience route, 2nd Edition might be it for me.
What did you decide?
This is a pretty sexy looking game. I may finally buy a Zombicide game.
Yea, this one impresses me, but zombicide games seem like they're nothing but self punishment.
Did you end up trying a Zombicide game out?
I did. Ended up Kickstarting Invader and 2nd Edition.
@@Geoffimus I'm getting 2nd edition too - keen to revisit it under this new production!
is it just me or does this just look like a board game RPG?
+Jim Blizzard That is exactly what its meant to be. You can think of it as a Walking Dead board game or perhaps a Left 4 Dead board game, same survival principle and so on. And I realized that it is actually the first of its kind, where all players play together against the game itself in an RPG style.
Backed it as a Christmas present thanks to the ex gf shes awesome but im jealous Rodney has it before me lol
+Eric Frederick No worries, they only have a couple copies for checking the final production, and they kindly gave me one of them to share with you fine folks!
me is jelly +1000... but i still like you a lot hehe
+rizar1982 Don't hold it against me too much :)
