I love the way they cover this. I listen to it alot. Really pure talent. I was raised listening to jazz and am married to a jazz guitarist. Kudos to you both for this!
Absolutely exceptional. Really fantastic. I am very familiar with the original will Ella and Joe Pass. You should give yourselves both pats on the back. Absolutely exceptional. Guitarist, A+++, Vocals, A++++!!!!
AS AN OLD VOCALIST (really old) WHO ALWAYS SAID THE BEST ACCOMPANIST FOR A SINGER IS AN ELECTRIC GUITARIST. YOU TWO HAVE MADE ME EVEN MORE SURE OF MY BELIEF. GREAT JOB!! I'D LIKE TO HEAR YOUR RENDITION OF SOME OF THE OTHER SONGS OF THE THIRTIES.
Really beautiful, both guitar and singer. It's so nice to hear young people keep this wonderful music alive. The Great American Song Book will never be out of date.
Why does this not have more likes and views? It’s a fantastic performance, understated, very faithful to the original. Both of you are amazing, definitely channelling Ella and Joe from that performance in Hanover!
Kudos and all thumbs up for your rendition Miss Holmes! Very sober singing without any mincing: Anita O'Day and Billie Holiday would be proud of this tribute. (BTW wonderful comping on the guitar...)
Ok so I been learning this by ear from when she starts singing "you turned the tables on me"Ebm7 Ddim7 G#7 G#13 G#b13 C#maj7 F#7add9 Fm#9 Ddim Fdim Ebm7 Faug9 A#m7G#13 C#maj7. There's a beautiful Ebsus2 in there later on but I quit tabbing for now. Good luck!

I don't know why you had to tell us that this is a cover version of the Joe Pass and Ella Fitzgerald cover of you turned the tables on me for two reasons one of which is hundreds of musicians have done this song and the other reason is because you do a better job than Ella !!!

At 79 I find it so refreshing to see young people that do such beautiful things with their talent. You just made my day.
Thank you ‼️

Just lovely. Lovely. I apologize for whoever thumbs this down. Clearly, they don't know of what they speak.
Absolutely beautiful! What an amazing singer. 10/10
so beautiful, Such a lovely voice...
very cool
Awesome.
I like this tune so much and I particularly like the quite slow
tempo you made it... my regards and congratulations
If this doesn't get one put of one's shell, oyster or otherwise, nothing will. I'll tip my hat to other singers, but, by jingo, I'll bow to Ella.
Very nice!

BRA! NEED TAB
Do you have the sheet music or tablature of this song?
Where can I read the music/tabs for the guitar playing? I thought this was joe pass's tune but I'm not finding any tabs. I want to learn this version
***** There are no tabs, He learnt this part by ear
Which is pretty amazing. I got about 95% of it after HOURS listening, but then I found this video and now I figured out the rest of the voicings hehe.
