I just read Spark of the Everflame - is you haven't read it yet, pick it up. It's incredible! Three books out so far with the fourth & final coming out this year.

Thank you for adding to my growing TBR list 😆 I, of course, love all things SJ Mass. I want to recommend The Way of Shadows by Brent Weeks. This book/ the Night Angel trilogy brought back my love of reading a couple years ago and I re-read in 2023... can confirm, it's near the top of my book list for characters/story that live in my head rent-free. ❤ Happy Thursday!
We definitely have similar book tastes because I've read quite a few of these (the SJM books and Normal people). When the moon hatched is downloaded on my Kindle and I'm excited to read it.

I’m reading Six of Crows right now and it definitely feels like it could become a new favorite! I’m obsessed haha. And basically the rest of these are on my TBR (besides ACOSF and CC, already read and really enjoyed) so I guess I need to get to them soon! 😆
I've only gotten back into reading since September of last year, so I havent been exposed to a lot of material that could be possibly my ultimate favorites of all time, but so far my top 3 picks are: A Court of Mist and Fury, Butcher and Blackbird, and Assistant to the Villian.
Such a hard thing to decide on! My favorites change often and would probably be different if I answered a few hours from now, but right now I’m thinking:

Sorry Nesta ain't it for melol. silver flames was hard for me to finish. Without Cassian there i would have dnf'd it.
I felt so bad but i did dnf it, maybe some day i will continue, the spice was just a little to much for me, i dont mind it usually, but its like SJM put more spice in 300 pages here then in all first 4 books, ACOMAF is my number 1.

I read the night circus two weeks ago and I don’t know how to explain it other than it felt like when you’re watching a painting in a museum : you admire the art but feel no connection to it. The writing was amazing but I felt nothing for the characters, it was a weird experience 😂

I thought I wouldn’t like Heartless by Elsie Silver much because it had some of my least fave tropes. But thought I’d give it a try since it’s the first in a series. I loved it! It was so good. A great start to the series.
I absolutely loved A Court of Silver Flames. I thought I wouldn’t because of Nesta. I never liked her and I always thought she was rude, snobby, lazy and plain mean. But wow, her story being told from her POV changed things. And what a story it was! I know I’m going to have to give it a reread sometime this year or before the next book comes out. And I wouldn’t mind if the rest of the books featured Nesta too. lol

My top 3 books are probably The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah, A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness, and the Harry Potter series (The Prisoner of Azkaban being my favorite of the series). Now if we were to dive deeper the ACOTAR series and the CC series would be on that list. I haven’t read ToG. The Chestnut Springs series would be on the list, The Wishing Game by Meg Shaffer. The list is vast!!
