Awesome plane, awesome kit from a great expanding company. No 😮such thing as transfers in the model world. Transfers were a kids hobby sticking images on picture backgrounds. Was fun just involved rubbing with a pencil through tracing paper. Decals require water. Do lije the Coral Sand one myself. Thanks for the box opening pal
Actually, decals were once usually referred to as 'transfers', certainly by companies like Airfix and Frog, and especially in the UK. The term decal originates from a French word describing a technique of transferring a design from one surface to another, in this case using water. Both transfer and decal mean the same thing, essentially. Apparently 'decal' was more common in the US and has since become the accepted term by most people, but to some British modellers of a certain age they're still transfers. Here endeth the lesson.
Thanks for your comment. However I have been calling them transfers for around 45 years now and that’s what they were called by everyone at the time. I will keep calling them transfers just because it’s what I’m used to and I do think everyone’s knows what I mean and won’t cause too much confusion. Yes, Coral Sand is the chosen scheme, keep watching for build video soon 👍
@@lancerevell5979 having had a better look at this kit I can say it is nowhere near as good as their Hurricane’s in the same scale. I’m sure it will build up into a nice kit but as their new release it is slightly disappointing. However I will do a build video for everyone’s viewing pleasure.
I have this kit on order so that's really disappointing. It's hard to understand how Arma didn't know that those chunks of plastic would create sink marks? 🤔 As I'm sure you know, Eduard have a much better system for their wheel wells, _and_ they're so much more refined. Anyway, thanks for the video ... I look forward to watching your build. cheers
Thanks but it doesn’t seem to get any better in the building. I’m having real fit issues between the upper and lower wings around the intake ducts. I’m quite happy to admit it might be me but I do think this is a real drop in their quality. Very strange as they have been excellent so far. I will persevere and update in a video.

Yes, spot on 👍
I've done a few 1/72 Arma Hobby kits and like them. Haven't tried their 1/48 kits. They aren't cheap.
Right, but the quality excellent. I have the Hurricane in 1/48 and the surface detail Is best I have seen 👍
