Check the temperature you use to Melt the glas. If its approximately 50% hoter then needed for the glas to melt, the result that could be that it doesnt sheter. (sorry for bad grammer)

Just like with melting metals, I don’t think you’re using enough heat. It isn’t complicated at all to make a Rupert’s drop. It’s literally a molten glass droplet cooling off in water. All of them should shatter
