yeah, i used to get into whistle flute (recorder) in early school , i still have won , the real disco times was in the 1970s there were some seriously epic stuff in the 1980s tho, i try not to think too much about folks passing yet , its un-avoidable , & you can spend hours & days mourning ,thinking, sometimes without realizing The Bass is The Final Messenger in this current era of music ,, thanks i will be back with more jams soon

oh thanks ,, well there was or is an apparent link between the band Change & myself whereupon i was "unofficially" asked to be an understudy bassist for any european tours.. by a band member of Change some 12 years ago now however, the rights of the name Change were allocated to other band members, if you could leave a link , cheers 2 skinny ken

yeah, i can give lessons ,, tho i recommend Scotts Bass Lessons / Eric Blackmon / Huw Foster however, if you are 50 & have never played an instrument you may not get any decent results its not easy to learn music as a mature student

From what I understand, the real bassist on this tune was some bad ass studio cat who's name escapes me. Bernard Edwards was a tight, on time, in the pocket. I don't remember Bernard Edwards as being a "thumbing" bassist. Which is fine by me, I prefer those deep,support type bass dudes. Anyway, this is one of the baddest bass lines ever ! Along with Motor Booty Affair, Give The people What They Want, Touch of Love, Special Secret Song.
