- Just 9 minutes and 55 seconds of moments that, for one reason or another, make me smile and laugh. Features episodes from all four seasons, and from two countries (not really, but it does have a clip from "Static in Africa" in it)! Richie as a brain puppet isn't faded out on purpose. For some reason I wanted to make it seem like all of that was a dream or something I guess. Gave me an idea on how to end a music video I'm working on, nice and helpful this has been.
Now to get some migraine medicine and get some much-needed sleep. Gonna go see GI Joe again tomorrow night.

I always liked how this show was down to earth and wasn’t afraid to talk about the smaller scale parts of the DC universe. Race, gangs, bullying, homelessness, guns. Don’t get me wrong, the justice leagues characters had depth and chemistry in spades, but I loved the human touch of this show

CovertBrony politics has always been a mess, the way this show was able to convey political messages was great. I think if they remastered the show and removed all politics it wouldn't be the same at all 🤔

The best thing about this show was that it felt legit, like this is an actual high school kid who's trying to balance normal life and super life. Plus the humor, the humor leaves me in stitches

not just different animation, different universes. the teen titan show was not part of the shared animated universe. which is why there is a young Wally West kid flash on teen titans and a grown up Wally West main flash on Justice league :)

I used to be like Gear in my math classes. Never paid attention then always had the right answer. Teachers stopped trying to make me look stupid by calling on me eventually.

To this day I still wonder how Richie coughed up a feather when he’s wearing a mask that is completely covering his mouth. This wasn’t the only animation goof made involving Richie and his magic mask
Maybe the feather got under the mask and then to his mouth? 😂
@@VINSMOKEProductions like I said the thing is completely covering his face and part of his chin. There’s absolutely no way for something to slip under it unless it was somehow broken or knocked askew. He’s also still wearing it when he coughs up the feather so how did he do that without taking it off?

In the Lil Romeo episode, he eats through his mask
the mask is nanotech & just lets things through if not dangerous sometimes allowing him to eat? Him eating was mentioned by another commenter here, in the lil romeo episode.

What episode was it when Rubber band man was dating Static sister, and he was in the house and he transformed into a chair. Static: "Where this come from? Sister: It's new, it just came in! Static: " Dibs" (then flops down on the chair)! It's all lumpy (then elbows the chair). Rubber band man/Chair: "ooofff (then transform back looking at static) then went back into the chair again, while a chair he says" Don't sit on me again"!!

Great compilation! A really funny moment I remember is the from the later episode when She-Bang made her second appearance. She followed Static & Gear to their hide out, and just when they took off their masks, she revealed herself, the boys panic and put on each other's masks! I remember laughing so hard!

If it's any consolation Young Justice is coming back for season 3 and Static's even going to be in it.
Not necessarily, all 3 of the shows listed were extremely popular and profitable but they were cancelled due to not being directed at a much younger target audience.

It's not the static universe, it's the DC Universe. Static is a dc comics character. They are all in the same universe 😑 which is why he said Batman.
Actually, Dakota is a parallel universe to DC (in the comics, prior to New 52) that got merged with the mainline DC 'verse, then unless I'm mistaken, split apart from it again.
Only in the DCAU is it officially part of the main universe, even though Static only made one appearance in Justice League Unlimited, in a story involving corrupted timelines.
That was only when static was written by mile stone comics.After Mile Stone shut down, he became mainstream DC. Static was part of the Tim Drake, Conner Kent, Cassie SandsmarkTeen Titans before n52

this show really went out of its way to be the black kid's superhero show. which is fine since every other super hero cartoon was white washed but they really wanted to make the show as black friendly as possible

Not really, not every episode of Static Shock was pushing an agenda; and even then, there was no agenda that was being pushed aside from Richie's dad being racist (which stopped after that episode) and black pride, which is fine.
The ratings sky-rocketed when Richie became Gear, so I guess adding in a regular white hero did help some. Every hero debuting on the show was black (aside from Richie), but the majority of reoccurring villains were black as well.

And yea, Justice League sort of disproves your "white-washed" theory of 90's-early 2000's superhero cartoons with John Stewart as a main character. And even then, every show was true to the ethnicity of their superhero's portrayed ethnicity in the comics, which isn't "white-washing."

Ironically Hotstreak went to see the equivalent of starwars in a movie theater in the static shock universe (hated it and blew up the movie theater).
I like the fact they were using something that sounded like the empire march from Star wars while making the scene more Star wars then modern Star wars.
