Nice job. I bought one last summer. Getting ready to take it out again. These things are awesome! Have only used it one time, but, I recovered gold with it.
Haha so this is the Remix video lol lol 😂 love it watched it again 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I own a piglet from gold hog awesome little unit 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻as always be safe & pan on
Hey Jerry, what an awesome set up you had out there. I love that Gold Hog high banker. I’ll be moving back to California the end of August beginning of September. I can’t wait to connect. Keep up the great job and I wish you a ton of luck!!
Starting at about 2:00, you do "not" have it set up for Docs approval, his standards. You have a kink in the layflat hose right near the hopper. Doc "does clearly explain" to put a section of "spa hose" (which is solid rigid hose) between the layflat hose and hopper to prevent kinking.
That’s some chunky gold try some Oregon beach sands for some good really micro fine gold practice that’ll make ya work for it 😅 nice job guys I’d keep running that area bound to hit a good pocket 🙌🏻💪🏻
Awesome man can’t wait to get my highbanker out in the field !!! If you haven’t seen my channel please check it out any tips would be highly appreciated
Hi I'm interested to buy this highbanker, I see that some water with material go out from the rear of the sluice, are you sure to don't loose gold from the rear? Thank you friend
If there is any there, that moss is going to catch it...There is just not much gold left in those beds. Initial gold rush+2 economic depressions= If there was anything of real value, the old timers got to it a long time ago...Imagine 30-40 people panning every Sq Foot of that area already...
Burt Burt the old timers didn’t get it all.. Trust me there’s plenty of gold still out there. I am well aware of the history tho .just about every square foot was checked .. A bottle of whiskey was 16 dollars during the height of the gold rush.. same as an oz. the old timers had to find at least an oz a day just to live comfortable. They wouldn’t bother with spots that produced less then half an oz per day.. those same spots if found today would make us rich. Great Depression guys came next and cleaned up most of those spots but I know of many people who have found them in today’s day and age.
I'm struggling to understand CA law. So is motorized highbanking legal as long as you are far enough from the water, and you do a pond to not discharge dirty water? I e been looking at gravity fed high banking. I'm to stupid to interpret CA laws.
If you can recycle water its perfectly legal. Or, if you are able to hold back your tailings in some type of pond. They don't want the river to see any turbidity. Technically they would have issues with any type of pulling of water as well. Use your judgment, if you can do it with no impact or being noticed, i'd say why not.
That is misinformation. Rules and regulations regarding high banking and discharging of water and waterways Are written in such a loose way that they are not only hard to interpret but hard to enforce. Also permits regarding water usage and discharging of water are not available to the public yet. That's basically like saying you need a drivers license to drive a car but there's no driver's license available. To each their own use your common sense I will use mine. 3% America
@@californiamotherlodeprospect That answers some of my questions, I just got a piglet high-banker with the flare and I've been doing research on where i can run this thing, but the laws I'm reading are about clear as mud. My dad's place is on the Yuba and I was hoping to do some prospecting there while running it into a settling pond??? If not I guess I can run the hi-banker off the irrigation canal water and bring the dirt to it, but that's a few added steps filling up a side by side bed and the 10 minute round trip to the river and back that I was hoping to avoid.
Now you see why not many people do this anymore. 3 guys put in 8 hrs of HARD work. Gold Hog= $500.00+ Water pump=$300.00+Buckets/Shovels/Pans/Hose/Rinse Aid=$100.00+10 gallons of gas=$40.00. Left with around $25.00(smelted), worth of gold...

I see you guys with a pickaxe, maybe consider a tiller to get more yardage and greater depth
Is it still Legal in California ?? Is legal everywhere? Or just in private Claims? Do you need a special permit? Or you can go with power motors?
I am not sure about everywhere but high banking is legal in California if done properly.
How can you hi bank in Calif when its illegal
Because it is not, you are misinformed. In certain sinarios yes, but not in this one.
I'm enjoying watching your adventures. Thanks
Glad you like them!
Do you need a permit to look for gold out here in Cali?
Hi I'm interested to buy this highbanker, I see that some water with material go out from the rear of the sluice, are you sure to don't loose gold from the rear? Thank you friend
I'd think about some dream mat in areas with fines like that check for it on FB David Peterson I think
