I know it is 5 months later but I just started using I think it's called Sim3dEd and you can essentially take a "parts car", isolate what you want (say a wheel and rim model) and then you can save that model. You can then open the car you want to mod, select the wheels and rim and then you can click "replace" I just did my first test run to see if it would work and it did after some moving and scaling

Apparently, not all Assetto Mods have the "Unpack LOD KN5" available when you go into the showroom in CM developer mode. I have CM in developer mode, and can unpack most cars, but the one I'm wanting to play with won't give me that unpack LOD KN5 option... Is there another way to do this?

Trying to learn about the dummies and which ones I need to add to the model to get the car in game. I have all the textures applied so now just trying to get it from a 3D model state to having it work in game. Any chance you can work through some thing like this? I have a small problem, I unpacked the car using the content manager, I import the car to 3ds max but in the advanced opcions/units/scale factor I don't have any digits, I can change the measurement units and I have empty space next to the scale factor : ............... , i'm doing something wrong ?
not exactly sure how to solve it, you could try importing in meters and seeing if it looks about the correct size because most mods use scale factor of meters

They’re under the same name or texture. That’s my guess I had this issue. So I duplicated the same object, but under a different name. I’m also learning all of this. So just throwing out ideas ( yes 2 years later )
