I was their in october 2019 & the 6 hour tour was $-1,000 pesos-! You have to know the language & bartering skills & not jump at the first price they throw at you-! Also you should give prices on the goods in Tepito is very el known for concert t shirts etc & again bartering skills you can pick up these shirts for $-50 to $-80 pesos & if you buy in mayoreyo of 3 you can pick them up for for$-35 each-! Prices of food & hotels would be nice-! You can pick up very nice accommodations for $-400 to $-500-! Even acquire nice accommodations for $-300 pesos which is equivalent to $-15 per night-!

There’s a museum there in Coyoacán which is called “museo de las intervenciones” (museum of interventions), if you’re interested in history it covers all the invasion attempts made by the USA and France in Mexico, and some revolutionary wars as well as the Texan war. So next time you come you can visit it :)

I am a Kahlo art fan, a watercolourist myself and just recently started studying the Russian Revolution and in particular the Romanov Royal Family. I didn't realize that is where Trotsky was executed. Maybe someday I can visit Coyoacan and other parts of Mexico City. Looking forward to your next video!😊💚🌿💐🎨

When in Mexico City, Coyoacán is a must-see: a magical and bohemian neighborhood filled with colorful facades, great restaurants, markets, cultural performances, museums, and amazing people. Some of its famous residents were Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.
Nice video. Just to let you know, there is a Museum in Xochimilco named "Dolores Olmedo". This museum contains lots of paintings from Diego Rivera and the place it self is beautiful!

Next time you go to Coyoacán take a look to its other “barrios” (neighborhoods) like la Conchita, Santa Catarina, San Lucas, San Francisco, Niño Jesús and San Diego Churubusco. Each one have gorgeous places, interesting historical spots, colorful alleys, colonial churchs, traditional houses and local businesses. Also if you are interested in modern architecture and cultural spaces, I suggest you to take a visit to the Cineteca Nacional, the Centro Nacional de las Artes (CENART), the Centro Cultural Elena Garro, and the Centro de Artes Vivas, really amazing and monumental infrastructure for arts and culture, all at Coyoacán.

Another great video. If you have the opportunity to go to next door Puebla city which is also famous for its mole and then compare it with Oaxaca's. Plus Puebla is a great colonial city along with Cholula where the largest pyramid in the world is located and it's the oldest continuously inhabited city in the Americas. Saludos
