For past few years I've been rigging my texas rigs with 2 bobber stops, one on each side of my weight. That way I can peg my weight at any distance from my bait & adjust it on the fly. You can also peg the weight against the bait or slide the top bobber stop up the line so your weight can slide freely. I've always called it an adjustable texas rig & it is also line a Carolina rig without the bead. I have a bait caster dedicated to this set up all year because it's so versatile. I fish a lot of big worms on it during summer. Besides big glide baits it's caught me all my biggest largemouth. 5 biggest fish last year was 7.4 - 8.05 - 8.6 - 9.3 & my current PB an 11.4

It's only way ivt been rigging them last 3 years . I keep a rod dedicated for it because it's so versatile. Change weight & baits. It's endless & gets bit

The underwater footage is good. It's good to see how baits actually look& act. I always play with my baits in shallow clearer water so I know what my actions with rod & reel actually cause the bait to do in the water. A lot of time less is more & I've learned my actions cause the baits to move more than I thought.

It's always enlightening to see what baits do underwater ... often times we over work baits and cause them to look unnatural . Thanks for the support

Great info, thank you!!! I like to use old school techniques in the places where I fish that are heavily pressured where most guys aren't throwing these rigs anymore.

I recently purchased some of the smaller (2.8 inch) 6th Sense Panorama baits (but have not received them yet). I am thinking these will be killer on a split shot rig. I am in North Carolina and can fish throughout the winter, no ice here, and in the cold water months I have had good results with a split shot rig so I can't wait to try the Panorama's on this rig!!!!

@@atoadigi they should be great around Shad balls . Or back in pockets where bait fish are pinned up over winter ❄️

ive seen fish eat a lure made from a hunk of wood. I think fishing is getting a bit too philosophical for reality
