You may have to take a couple of slates out first using a ripping tool. Then you'll find the distance to be either 400mm to 600mm centres. But we have found everything in between so be sure to have a few spare slates. This roof hood has made the installation far quicker.

How do you know where the timbers are?
That’s what I’m thinking. How to locate the rafter from top to bottom acutely??
