Thank you Jay, I’m thinking of adding a Kessil to my 90g. I provide my LFS with cherry shrimp so slowly I’ll have enough money. 😁

Hey Jay do you think you could do a video on how to get back into acquiring keeping, I have unfortunately been out of it for over two years, with all the past stuff with the world..

Not totally about lights Jay, but the tech out there is such that we could set up auto water change, auto feed, with lights programmable via phone. It seems like the technology is working to keep us from being in touch with our fish, the thing we got into the hobby for in the first place.

Yep which is why I NEVER AUTO FEED

Room is looking great. I’ve slowly built my fish room and have finally got my 125 going for my cichlids, but I however have a variety of different lights that were in my price range at this time. Someday would love to have Kessil lights but for now it is what it is.

I have been watching your videos. Im setup up a 100g fish tank that I may try a few plants in. I see in your older videos you liked the current USA lights. Kessils are more than I would like to spend, but I haven't ruled them out. Reefbreeders seem to be very high in blue LEDs. Even if you turn them down it seems like a waste. Why do you like them so much for Freshwater?

I like Kessil’s for the shimmer and superior growth. Overall they give me exactly what I want for the natural look

👍😎 Room looks great Jay. I like that shimmer, reminds me of scuba diving a little. Why is Kessil the only one I see that does that? Way out of my price range, one of those “you get what you pay for” things. 🖖

Depends a A80 isn’t too expensive and it’s due to the technology of the Powerful dense matrix

👍😎 Maybe one, not too bad but I only have 1 tank, a 125. I’d probably need 3-4.

Amazing tanks! What kind of light do you use for your turtles? Do you need two differents lights, one for the turles (uvb..) and one for the plants or there is one for both? I just subscribed without even looking at the video, i knew by the look of your tanks that you know what you are doing :D

      Lol thank you.
They need UVB - heat and whatever light you want to add for accent or plant growth

I just use the light the comes with my smaller tanks but it's very rarely on as I keep bettas and found they arent a fan of intense light. On my main tank I use the tank light itself as I have used low light easy grow plants so really dont need high tech lighting. Any lights I do have are on a timer for 7 hours per day. Been there seen it done it with the algae, my fault totally 🤣

This is a very cool video. On my 150 gallon African tank I run two castle tuna blues at about 50% power with the white and blue turned all the way up. On my rainbow tank I have a JCNP full spectrum light with the white in green turned up the red is a little less than 50% and the blue is barely on. On my planted green terror Tink a use AJ CNP light said to the same color tones. Both of those planted tanks continuously pearl with no CO2 being used. On my 125 gallon Oscar think I have two Aquin eat white lights nothing special for them and the tank looks great!🐠🦯
