- 7 people killed and 48 injured, 21 of them in critical condition. A third major attack in three months - and four days before polling day - will terror change the course of politics?
Declaring 'enough is enough' - Theresa May promised a sweeping review of Britain's counter-terrorism measures - while police have tonight promised increased physical security on London's bridges to protect the public.
Police have been giving more details about their response - saying officers fired an "unprecedented" 50 rounds at the three attackers, fearing they were wearing suicide devices. One member of the public was wounded in the process. Counter terrorism chief Mark Rowley said said detectives were now trying to establish whether others were involved in planning the attack.
We've obtained this video from an eye witness who says these are the three attackers roaming through Borough Market, near London Bridge, after stabbing people in their path. Within minutes the three alleged attackers were shot dead by police.
Within only 8 minutes they were dead!! Good job police!!!

Jean Charles De Menezes was shot 7 times in the head as he ran away from police onto a packed train with a rucksack on his back whilst the country was on high terror alert from a recent attack! He was given multiple orders to stop and put his hands up by the armed police but he chose not to do so and the cops shot him 7 times to be completely sure they had neutralised any threat he coulda posed by detonating what the cops thought was an explosive device on his back. Can you imagine the uproar from the British public if he was a suicide bomber and had detonated a bomb on that train? The cops woulda been crucified for not stopping him fs!
He was 100% lawfully killed and had he obeyed the orders by the AMAZING armed cops he would still be alive today? Oh and before you say ` oh he didnt speak English , he didnt understand the cops ` or some other bullshit if you or i were in a country and we didnt speak the native language and a group of armed cops ran up to us shouting at us with guns drawn we would automatically put our hands up in the air and stay still we wouldnt run away onto a packed train with a backpack on our backs would we? I was in London a week before the attack, I was meant to go on the day of the attack
The few positive points:
They did NOT have fire guns. They did NOT have real explosives.
Something in the system worked and prevented them from obtaining these things.
Seven dead is bad+sad+wrong+everything. But, in the end, it was three attackers and "only" seven dead. it could have been so much worse if even just one of them had had a fire gun.

No they're not, you have to apply for a gun licence but it's very rare to actually be accepted becauae they onlly allow it for police and hunting etc.

High explosives require a DETONATOR to ignite them. You can drive a D9 CAT over any high explosive without risk. RDX etc requires a high explosive detonated by a det' to make them go bang. A bullet will have no effect unless it hits a quarter inch by 2" det'. Fairly unlikely.
