Herculaneum

Herculaneum was one of our last planned stops in Season 3. Maybe a bit tired, a noisy train ride from Sorrento, my attitude was not perky. Once inside the "city" was my outlook transformed. The preserved beauty was beyond description. I have no idea how they cut the stone of the floor tiles. A must visit. If its a choice between Pompey and Herculaneum, Herculaneum wins by a mile.
