Hi Ben definitely the knowledge that you share is awesome. I have driven my Himalayan which was bought in Jan 2020 to 65000 kms and changed my clutch assembly just now. Kick start Garage, Basil and team has been servicing my bike and also his knowledge is amazing. Keep up your good work 👍👍👍
Thanks Ben, I'm about to open the clutch cover on my wife's bike. Very stiff clutch operation - I've checked the obvious items - so it is time to open the cover to have a good look around. I suspect grooves or 'notches' in the basket where the plates are sticking. Time to file the basket smooth.
Yes that could be a reason , but an improper routing or kinked wire can contribute to a lot of stiffness to . Try different routing other than factory and see if it makes a difference.

good evening, I dismantled my clutch and reassembled it like in many videos with the last disc shifted (see photo) and surprise impossible to disengage, I searched for a while, I dismantled 5 times maybe more :demon: (a headache) and checked the order of the parts with the manual (it's not complicated lol) and I saw an Indian video where the last disk is in alignment with the others and miraculously it works what is the right method?
Hi Ben, I'm facing a problem with the Himalayan clutch. When the motor is cold, usually in the morning, the first time I start the bike the clutch makes a huge noise when I release it. Then everything goes normally .
I am Using prospec easy clutch after 15000 km my gear shift is really tight , RE suggesting changing the clutch plate, is prospect clutch causing it ! can u help!
Bro_need help here regarding clutch push rod where can i get one through online??? And aslo wanted the windscreen washer and nuts where do i get one with perfect fit??
Hi Ben, I bought a Himalayan in Dec 2021 and bike has run 3300kms so far. I had issues with acceleration for which the service center guys say the clutch assembly has worn out and needs to be changed and they are not ready to cover it under warranty. I am really surprised the clutch has worn out. What could be the issue here? I went for a ride to Kerala from Chennai and did a bit of off roading.
This has become the "go to channel" when it comes to RE Himalayan. Good work.

IF it is the case ( clutch worn out ) . The. It clearly means you have burnt the clutch plates ( wrong clutching habits ) .
Does changing clutch plates reduce hard clutch
No unless there is something wrong with your clucth plates . Watch my FIX HARD GEAR SHIFTS VIDEO
