  • I needed to know which controller was in the Engwe Engine Pro so I filmed it. Easy to remove, hard to out back!

    FIRST generation ENGWE ENGINE PRO apparently employed a lower wattage 16Ah controller and is slower vs December 2022 model as yours matches mine

      I need the controller because my bike broke down and I need to change the controller because the one you have doesn't work for you.

    Always wondered if this controller is easy to upgrade, but I guess I'd need another battery & screen too..

      Def don't need new battery, and only (might) require new display. If you can find model number or serial number on display somewhere, can Google for compatible controllers, find one rated for same voltage (or can be a range like 37-72V) and with a moderately higher max current Amps. Too much and you'll need to upgrade the wiring to thicker, 1.5-2x seems common. More amps at same voltage will mean slightly higher top (loaded) speed, but moreso faster acceleration, and less drop in top speed when going uphill.

      Mine is the Engwe EP-2 Pro, and our controller has a max of 18a. Wanna sell your Engine Pro controller to me? lol@@andrewstephens2687

    Do you notice real cut off battery at 39v when biking?

    • @e-VRC
      @e-VRC  Год назад +4

      Nope never. Barely even noticed any voltage sag as the battery ran out. On the range test even as I got below 20% it was still getting to 25 mph. One of the scooters was pretty useless under 50%

      From Engwe's website. Have you watched my review of the bike? There are links in the description.

      I don't know if the connectors match perfectly but if you knew which ones had to connect to which and can solder/change connectors then I'm sure it would work.
