@Major Cbass not to get on a soapbox.....but it's really this society/generation is too f'n soft. I'm all about being fair and not taking advantage of people. The seller made over $3k of sales......On 2 transactions! He's at a convention to SELL. Cash in hand now is always better than inventory sitting on that table for months or longer. Now he can use those funds to re invest into his business.
If he sold that second lot at retail of $2800 on eBay after fees and shipping he's looking at around $2400ish. Maybe less. So $2300 on the spot is a hell of a deal.
The people hating are probably the types of people to welch on a bet 😂
Keep in mind that cash on hand may not be the same as profit, but that certainly does not mean that the cash on hand is not valuable. Taking in 3800 for selling a bunch of games you were already selling is pretty great, even if there were cuts to profit.

I dont get Caleb sometimes. I've offered him tons of Switch sealed stuff, he wants to pay 50%, but I guess he treats his friends a lot better. 66% of value on the first box and then 82% of value on second and that's "More in line with a bulk deal price"? Doesn't stack up. Not trying to hate, just from trying to make a deal myself with Caleb I find this hard to offer to make another deal in the future.

I botught some items from the same vendor a couple of months ago at retropalooza in Arlington. The best deals I got all weekend was from them and I planned on buying more from them the next time for sure. Was able to trade a new unopen pokemon swithlite and a couple of other things for a sealed copy of shanta and the pirates curse for the switch.

So the assumption is that the prices on the games were true to value at the time which is something that can change quite fast including your purchasing of the games for a certain value to sell again. Since it was a sponsor video, it is assumed you knew your limit and The dealer was free to set those prices so making a deal is also within their discretion.
Basically a deal is a deal but going back again did help lighten their packing up and provide more value too.
Nah, he would have come down on a lot of those prices, and probably wouldn't have sold the whole box in one day. You both win in this deal. He gets a lump sum that probably matches what he would have actually got off that box, you got a load of stock at wholesale.

I don't understand how you feel bad about this deal when its close to 60 percent of value, when alot of deals are 40 to 50 percent of value. Id say 60 percent paid on a bulk purchase for games that would likely sit for a very long time, is a great deal for him.
Its bad because ppl made 50% a deal or some kind of bargain value ain't no way im giving 50% im not handicap and I can sell it myself if that the case if I sell it I want a advent collector to buy it would I take a $500 or maybe $750 off my collection yea but it matters how big your collection is and the value

As much of a deal you got those games. Both parties seem thrilled about the whole process. Almost if they enjoy the actual hobby of these deals going through they both shook hands.

You should go to totally awesome games in Denmark Wisconsin. I recently bought some games and an nes. Really amazing prices and they have good collectibles. They have almost anything retro you can think of, and an arcade with 5-6k games. Most of the games are in good condition, and he is very flexible with the prices.

Most if not all of those are not factory seals. You can tell by the way the light hits them and the crinkles on the top of the cases.

I feel too because the games are just sitting like at the end of the day for the seller to make profit he has to sell them all at those prices and sometimes games just don't sell after a long time and people drop prices again. So like a 50 dollar game in a few years could go down to 45, 40, or 35 because no one is buying it. So even though the true retail price was ect. depending of the sellability of the item it could be much lower if it just sits for years and no one is interested in it

Should never pay more than $1450 after the agreement…you’re just giving the vendor a massive freeroll on you if you give in. It’s called a gamble for a reason. He likely never helps you out if it adds up to $800…
