Problem is, almost nobody would watch a video about most millionaires. I know quite a few, they live in nice, but normal houses, drive 5-year old Toyotas or Honda's and never post anything about their vacations.
The average millionaire is living a middle class lifestyle, although they aren't normally financing the lifestyle in debt like many in the middle class.

I love Stephanie!! She makes brilliant videos, I watch them all. She's literally made a difference in my own self-esteem in ways I didn't expect. That video in particular I've already watched a couple of times. It's a great crossover into your type of content and so awesome you did this reaction to it 👏
Comparison is a thief of joy, too. People watch these influencers and then spend all day feeling bad that they don't have the same stuff (even though the influencers are broke...).
The best content creators are people with regular jobs or businesses who do content creation on the side. Its how Graham himself got started. I believe he was still a real estate agent when he had over a million subscribers.
In the 60's to 90's there were some who dreamed of the rock'n'roll or Hollywood careers A very few did succeed Now in social media era large parts of society think that online fame is the future Again, a very few will succeed
I'm going on my 10th year as a content creator. Since the start, I never considered this as a stable career (but more a side gig) and always thought it was going to end anytime. I'm thankful it's still going strong. Living below my means definitely helped. Even with "windfalls" not once did I give in. I waited and saved up to buy my dream house in cash. If I can't afford it, I don't buy it.

2:42 I'm not sure you've already picked up on this modern trend, but these trucks and SUVs are basically more used as luxury/status symbol vehicles than work vehicles. Real workers buy trucks short enough to more easily put things on beds long enough to actually fit anything.
Since you posted it, I have a hard time believing women with those comically large breast implants aren't in constant discomfort. But I guess most beauty trends involve women torturing themselves in one way or another.
Protect that with all your might I’m the same A lot of things people whine about could’ve been avoided if they practiced some discretion and had boundaries
When my wife and I receive a windfall such as bonus, proceeds from an IPO, or return on a good investment, we treat ourselves but almost all of it gets invested. We keep out lifestyles within our take home salaries after fully maxing tax advantaged plans such as 401Ks, IRAs, and 529 plans. We are by no means deprived. We still eat out at nice places around once or twice a week, take vacations, and indulge in our hobbies.
The problem with most people is not living below means if they did this simple thing all the time it will save them its like having a financial secret weapon.
There's nothing wrong with escaping from reality once in a while. Some daydream, some do cos play, etc, but the issue is when your escape life becomes your reality. Like these influencing. If someone tells me they are an Instagram model or influencer, I tell them I'm an elite navy seal....in call of duty.

The favorite game my husband and i play is when we drive around, we guess if the big lifted truck/ jeeps are actual campers/ off road peeps or pavement princess hahaha
@@tscoff we really only consider the cars that are pavement princess are the ones who modify them for off road / super lifted but never take it off roading or camping! I know some girls in my high school who got lifted jeeps bc they are rich and look cool. They never actually go off roading lol
@@tscoff yep! We have a lifted Tacoma because we use it for off road camping! We don’t use it for our daily commute because it’s so heavy and waste of gas! Yep. Warren Buffet still lives in the same house since he was a kid in Omaha. John Deere Owner Jim Pattison still drives his old rusty Ford around.

I can confirm this as I’m rich asf but I don’t post about my lavish lifestyle or fortunes to the general public 👍💯
As someone who was harmed by a parent, you stop asking them to stop hurting you and try to find new tactics to minimize the harm because escape is not possible.
money talks, wealth whispers. I find it wild that people are willing to go into debt to put on the facade of being rich.
Ooh 😊I officially love that quote
Money is just an AMPLIFIER -it amplifies the person you already are.
Imagine trusting your career on a platform that can arbitrarily shut you down based on your political or religious beliefs.
When I was poor I made it look like o had more money.
Once I was wealthy I make it look like I’m broke.
And that’s how you STAY wealthy
