Dj Lambright Id love to scout bigger properties for bigger game
I'd like to drive 11 hours from Massachusetts to hunt hog on public property. Would make some recommendations? Please?
I went hunting for my first time this past August. I was right outside of Shallotte, N.C. I was very close to W. Brunswick high school by the wilderness preservation. Would you be my guide and mentor ?
im in harnett county and looking for public game lands with camping available in your area. there aren't many. have you scouted out any areas close to you with campsites available?
I went out here today I’m not sure if it’s still gameland, looks like it’s nature conservation and hunt by draw only...
Tee Yang that sounds like the LandTrust property but it should’ve been clearly marked.
Imma have to bring maps next time, I just wanna say your a good person doing these videos because iv been tryin to find hogs and no one wants to give up info, Keep up the good work brother 👍
So is this place actually huntable for hogs still? Been trying to look it up and keep seeing something about some trust . I don't know, seems like a lot of confusion. Would love to hunt it if if it is still public hunting land . Seems like everywhere else is all along the nuse river basin and all on private property which seems to be owned all by hog hunting outfitters that want to charge outrageous prices for a species thats supposedly needs to be stopped because their taking over everything. Guess they must not be that bad. I live in Maryland and make a yearly trip to Georgia for hogs. Just be nice to go somewhere thats a lot closer and half the distance. Thanks for making these videos , need more fellow hunters to do the same. Just hope its still huntable.
it is still able to be hunted on. The games lands are leased to NC from ALCOA (an energy and aluminum corporation. Over the next three years NC Wildlife is going to try and purchase the land in order to keep it public.
Land trust bought most of it with money from your license purchases and now it is off limits to everyone but them and their friends. Wrc gave them 3.3 million dollars to buy it. It will never be given back to the wrc. 3 rivers land trust is not going to hand it over to anyone. They are deceitful and dont care that you cant hunt it now. Its pretty much a private hunting club there now. They bought 2400 acres for 7 million there. It is stupid to believe the wrc is going to try to buy it and keep it gamelands for people to hunt when it was already gamelands and they gave millions to the land trust so they could buy it. You can take a ride down the river and see for yourself that the alcoa gameland signs have been replaced with 3 rivers land trust and posted signs. Most of the gamelands above york hill is now land trust property.
