If the club is bad for Rose's business then it'll definitely be distress for a senator - and out of humiliation he'll probably frame them as corrupting and kidnapping his daughter and will get them into a much longer jail sentence.
So the women stand around chatting for a bit, what are the cops going to do? It's a group of women going out for the night having a nice chat afterwards, nothing illegal about that, no need to suspect that they could've been in anyplace illegal.

The idea is that the cops will try to see what “entertainment” they were attending and discover that it’s something illegal.
Not necessarily suspicion but just general curiosity.
